It's just a lot of times you do not see class 4-5 armor on non hot-zones at shoreline for example... so beginners can learn with non-top-tier ammo - it does not mean it is trash (it is for you for your usage tho) - it just means that there are more shades of gray between "always trash" and "only good ammo"

We are in #beginners-assistance and not in #beginners-go-pro-in-one-step - sure - we should tell ppl about differences in ammo - it's just that you've lost the view of a new and confused player and tell him what he should do if he were on your level. And he is just not able to perform this way - for the first few matches when he learns the map and even the controls he should not pick the best ammo (not guns or armors) - and you saying that he is not playing the game in optimal way really does not change a thing for him - he does not know a lot more crucial things at this time

Excuse me, I have spent countless hours watching videos on how to get better (not end up broke). But, these videos are not 'really' aimed at new players. I can't do what they do. I don't have a gamma. Does anyone have a video or guide that give actual new player advice? I'm 0-14 on PMC run survival. I've yet to kill anyone. I'm now down to running my scav, and only playing PvE as I wait for my skav to respawn.

once you're comfy extracting, try to loot some stuff and gradually you will learn the game

Lvl 5 can be done in a day and then you have access to flea market which lets you buy any item in the game

If you like slug AP-20, But if you prefer slug take a rifle anyways.
Also if you use 8.5mm recoil is greatly increased, I strongly suggest using a monster claw muzzle brake.

Last tip with buckshot... Bring more than you think you will need, remember stacks are only up to 20 rounds. And shoot them more than you think. I regularly shoot 3-5 shots or more for every scav I kill. If it is a PMC, I empty my gun into them.

Typically a cheap MP-152 with cylinder adaptor, monster claw, sprm mount, and MRS sight.

I liek the MRS sight with the circle and hatch marks on it for my shotguns.

hi, can someone explain how to get the PMC role? Theres no mention of it in the rules channel. theres also no instructions in the setup channel. all i can do is click a flag icon for my server region and a checkmark for notifications.

@lapis crag there certainly are guides - but the best thing is to learn when selling (otherwise you might forget either way - there is A LOT of different stuff in the game to loot). When you get to lvl 5 you'll get access to flea market that will make it easier for you

@lapis crag well... I'm not gonna lie... you will still be very much learning at that point 😄 but you will get an access to the market and check quickly everything 🙂 Also you will get some feeling about how much roubles per slot is "a good loot" - and how much your basic equipment costs

@nocturne flax also - those might not be the latency lags - your machine might be freeing some RAM - if that would be the case - there are programs that MIGHT help with that (you'll get smaller lags but a little more often)
