it's just that those items have specific places that they spawn in (marked rooms for example) and more experienced players just know how to get them as soon as they get the proper keys (as long as RNG is on their side)

@glass moon as with most combat answers - depends on the situation. Weapon you're using, your ability to use moving reticle properly, the need to be a harder target / get into close cover while suppressing enemy... there is no one answer ๐

@glass moon there's no aim penalty to moving like csgo so if you can move and still aim where you need to hit it's better than standing still.
I find more often than not crouching during a straight up gunfight makes you slower and easier to hit

@glass moon just be aware that without leveled skills and modded/proper weapons you will most probably be able to take fewer on-target shots while strafing - you will just not be able to get that reticle on the enemy as often as you like (when counting walk bobbing and recoil)

@long hazel and vendors sell specific gun setups - those do not change (you get more on higher vendor levels but the old ones stay the same)... on the flea market you do need to check what you buy - but with some experience you'll be able to see almost everything from the weapon image alone (it does reflect the build)

then there is your answer ๐ either first find a way to earn money reliably - then start buying for such quests... or try to find those right now - but remember that you then carry 6 slots of that bad armor (that you won't even sell) instead of extracting with something more valuable
and it's VERY easy to get loot that takes 6 slots in your inventory that will get you enough roubles for two of those (at least)

ok I need somebody to literally guide me, I can't do this quest. I am still doing Punisher 4, kill scavs in woods with shotgun. What did you guys do precisely? Where did you go? What weapon and loadout did you use? Did you use 2 weapons, the shotty for scavs and one backup for pmcs?

When I play woods I usually immediately try to move for my exit and kill scavs on the way, but lately 1) I've been finding NO scavs, 2) I get rekt by pmcs so quickly and only have a saiga to defend myself, so I die everytime

@sudden bridge First thing to do is RESET EXPECTATIONS. Doesnโt matter how much or how well you do in other shooters. This is a knowledge game. You will die and die due to lack of experience not gear. Experience. It will require persistence and commitment. You need to learn maps, scav behavior, PMC behavior, what is good vs. bad ammo. Practice OFFLINE mode, with scavs on, at Customs. Try to make it from spawn to exit 10 times. IF you can do this 50% of the time then you are ready for online. Meanwhile use your scav at Interchange to get loot and learn the map.
