@pliant garnet @untold umbra I leave you with my wisdom. First thing to do is RESET EXPECTATIONS. Doesn’t matter how much or how well you do in other shooters. This is a knowledge game. You will die and die due to lack of experience not gear. Experience. It will require persistence and commitment. You need to learn maps, scav behavior, PMC behavior, what is good vs. bad ammo. Practice OFFLINE mode, with scavs on, at Customs. Try to make it from spawn to exit 10 times. IF you can do this 50% of the time then you are ready for online. Meanwhile use your scav at Interchange to get loot and learn the map.

I have watched some video advising me to play PVE modes instead of PVP ones but to be honest - I don't know what to do while I am exploring the maps (I know it might sounds weird). I have read some wiki and tried to log into the specific map, loot a little bit and then I tried to use "one of the gates which allows me to escape the game" but they are not working. Do I have to do something specific to be allowed to go back with my loot to the base or what? Also, I will have to identify the items everytime or when I will finish the zone properly they will be known for my character?

@pliant plank 6B3T armored rig is 48k for tier 4 armor and a rig, it's way cheaper. you wanna run morphine in your pouch since its a one-time use. You can run 1 mag in the gun, 1 mag in the rig and put 60 bullets in your pouch. You want to only have cheese and bandage on your pockets. also no point in running painkillers and morphine at the same time really. If you get 1 tapped, you really dont have a chance to use any of that
