@frigid fog You'll never avoid everyone all the time and unless you're using high level gear like them, you should acknowledge they already have an advantage over you. It's just the way the game is. Rather I'd ask you why you want to live more. To make money? If you're not bringing in good gear, the way to make money is essentially loot running which can be done very fast and in next to no gear or just an armored rig. You get loot very fast and if you die you lost barely anything. It's even more money than most people can make going in fully geared into labs. But it's boring so it's not the end all be all.
If you're dying to geared people, basically the only way to fight it other than knowledge and experience is... to be on the same playing field as them in terms of gear. Have good gear, good bullets, etc or your knowledge/experience will only take you so far.

Why not the OP-SKS... I did my entire first wipe with SKS and most of my second. I still regularly use it earlier in the wipe before I move onto M1A. Again it is far from the best gun, but it can be fun and can still be competitive.

alright here is what im thinking delta, i know you look poorly on full auto
but besides that. a MDR for 50k (11k more than ak 101) has 87 vert recoil which is 90 less. that 11k more for the gun probably does more work than 11k worth of mods on an ak 101. use some m8555A1 ammo and a little modding and should be good for cqc if it comes to that

@ashen compass First thing to do is RESET EXPECTATIONS. Doesn’t matter how much or how well you do in other shooters. This is a knowledge game. You will die and die due to lack of experience not gear. Experience. It will require persistence and commitment. You need to learn maps, scav behavior, PMC behavior, what is good vs. bad ammo. Practice OFFLINE mode, with scavs on, at Customs. Try to make it from spawn to exit 10 times. IF you can do this 50% of the time then you are ready for online. Meanwhile use your scav at Interchange to get loot and learn the map.
