@slim quest lots of ways in an out... My safest exits though are through the garage, typically. I go to the garage, out thte south end for Emercom, or one of the front exits for railway.
For emercom I go near the wall and follow the wall. For railway I cross the parking lot by using the trees for concealment, cross the first road, go north until I get past the scav area on the road and then head for exit.

You can use the crafting mostly for quests , as it's "Find in raid"
so for quest that requires item such as car battery hoes etc you can use to craft it
other then that 2 cables for ~30k to make 8 wires is probably most cost effective if you don't wanna do ammo
They did change time/items required for many things so maybe soon they will decrease the time for some items such as green powder in this case.

I'd say the take away from this conversation is if you use EDIT PRESET and take the time to go into flea and examine every weapon and weapon part then you can add/remove parts to a weapon even if you do not have the items in your stash. So it takes the whole in a container thing out of the equation. Mod weapon was present prior to EDIT Preset even though they share some functionality. My guess is the Modding will go away and the Edit Preset will stay. @barren meadow

@bleak beacon First thing to do is RESET EXPECTATIONS. Doesn’t matter how much or how well you do in other shooters. This is a knowledge game. You will die and die due to lack of experience not gear. Experience. It will require persistence and commitment. You need to learn maps, scav behavior, PMC behavior, what is good vs. bad ammo. Practice OFFLINE mode, with scavs on, at Customs. Try to make it from spawn to exit 10 times. IF you can do this 50% of the time then you are ready for online. Meanwhile use your scav at Interchange to get loot and learn the map.

All I know is that during typical server load (nto after wipes, before twitch drops) maps with 15+ second matching times were dead, 1-2 PMCs at most. Matching times <5s would load me into warzones.

You will die and die due to lack of experience not gear. Experience. It will require persistence and commitment. You need to learn maps, scav behavior, PMC behavior, what is good vs. bad ammo. Practice OFFLINE mode, with scavs on, at Customs. Try to make it from spawn to exit 10 times. IF you can do this 50% of the time then you are ready for online.
