My opinion but that is the wrong way to look at it. You have a scav loadout usually with crap ammo. You can get experience using scav on maps that are Typical of the real game using your scav on other maps. Plus you can get loot.

@exotic nebula I know what you're trying to get at, but there really is no catchall to "should I stand and fight or move" there's SO many factors that go into it.
If you can reposition safely, in cover, without them seeing, then do it. But if you have them pinned in one position and they can only move one way, sometimes its better to just slightly change the angle you're peeking from rather than completely moving and losing sight of them/their escape.

@sly pond That happened to me once, never happened again. Possibly luck but I've done dozens and dozens of loot runs on shoreline, all about movement and where your route is. Takes time and a bit of effort, that's all.

@sly pond I've been shot at a couple times right off spawn, the bullets never landed. I just kept running and just not in a straight line, using trees as cover and the trees and leaves to break line of sight. Can't run and shoot me at the same time.
Also crossed paths with someone once. I was constantly looking so I saw him aiming and I was in the open. I ran the other way, he hit me good but I kept running, healed, he pushed too hard and I killed him. Moved on with my run.

ah yeah ive been shot in the back there before, just gotta use cover as best as you can. I always immediately sprint to resort so that at least any campers will be behind me and won't keep up. To make sure I don't get shot in the back I move unpredictably and break line of sight where I think people spawn
