What's a good starter map to learn gunplay and looting strats?

Interchange is a great map for looting strats, but Id have to say factory is amazing for learning close quarters based combat. If you are looking to learn how to make long distance shots, Woods would be a great map to learn such. But of course offline is always an option so you can play against scavs and learn good holding positions and flanking positions.

Thats why I recommended offline as well, and usually its only one geared person looking to finish a quest. A mosin could easily take care of the dude. Also scav runs are a thing, so they could do scav runs on factory without worrying about losing gear to a fully juiced dude

I often get out of factory with scav raids. I learned the layout of the map. if the guns I hear sound better then mine or out number me. I either ambush or just circle and leave quick as I can. or wait it out.

You may need to put adapters on top of adapters on top of adapters but generally you can attach most grips to most guns

iirc the Tapco stock does not have the dovetail mount for the PSO. I think the work around for it is to get an OP SKS (tan one) and take the stock off of it (the tan part) then merge the Tapco and the OP SKS barrel together.
You will have the dovetail for the PSO and the foregrip to mount the NC Star and red dot.

Any tips for looting with solo play? Can't really speak so I'm kinda stuck with that (since I don't wanna be someone else's dog the whole time).
I sometimes find myself with a successful kill, wait a little and go to loot and then get one tapped by a pursuer that I couldn't hear

Slow and steady for overall play. For Looting...Be decisive. Grab stuff and go. Don't lay there debating what you want. Better to make a mistake and miss something that you could have fit if you folded another item or rotated something than to get executed laying prone

There are 3 sniper scavs
One over construction who seems to spawn the most
One Silver warehouse at boilers who is there fairly commonly
And another one on checkpoint who usually spawns late
Most scavs roam near big red,new gas station, infront of bleach warehouse near the shortcut, some also occupy sleeper scavs warehouse and old gas
Tho gas is risky
Cause reshala might be there too

Id say check your spawn area rush the map through construction to kill the sniper and scavs on the main road and wait near the other end of the map
So if u spawned big red go to boilers and wait for them to spawn

I've been buying 20 flashes every couple raids and just tossing them all as soon as I spawn.
