Honestly u dont need to buy shoreline keys to make money, just run the village in shoreline, interchange, and reserve to make money as just about everything has value (especially nails, bolts, screws, hose, relays, and more) if you need the keys for a quest then wait till u have the quest, buy the key u need, then sell it back. @heavy marten

Customs has a fuckton of quests on it, somewhat high amount of scavs, and has a lot of chokepoints so lots of pvp
Interchange has a fuckton of loot, lots of scavs, lots of players looting - but its well worth it if you learn the map
Shoreline is also a huge map - lots and lots of loot, decent amount of scavs and players roaming around

@hidden folio AK74 fires a smaller round and typically has lower recoil. And the contrary, AK104 is a smaller gun that fires a larger, harder hitting round. It’s hard to say which one is “better”, but an experienced player can use both effectively.

decent optics that arent ironsights(irons are hard to keep on target when gun shifts up)
gun model itself(example of downgrade: HK - M4 - ADAR)
helmet: downgrade in the following order - altyn/bnti/airframe(these 3 have same price with different traits. altyn is best of best for combat but limited visibility and no headset. bnti is allrounder with c4 shield but no headset. airframe can take headsets but c3 shield) > ZSH(tan/black) with shield or LZSH with shield. zsh is cheaper than lzsh but cannot have headsets. > penis helmet(world war helmet) do not use anything else. It's absolutely a waste. I repeat. Sell everything that is not what I wrote above.
armor: downgrade as follows: Zhuk-6 > killa armor(the tan one, somethingsomething M). Very good repair cost and efficiency as long as you're confident in not dying) > Gen4(assault/hmk both are fine. 11.7 assault was best but you dont need arm protection since we have cms now) > gzhel > untar.
Don't waste money on anything that is below class 4, with exception of untar(its kinda cheap due to visibility). maaaaaybe paca if you really want minimum protection.
ammo: do not give up on ammo but if you absolutely have to, use something like a M80 hunter so that you only have to have few rounds and you can carry reserves in container. if you really want to use 5.45, nothing except BT, BS, ignolik ever. for 5.56, nothing except M856A1/M995 ever. for 7.62 mosin, 7n1 only. for 7.62x39, BP only ever. Do not skimp on ammo, it gets you killed 100%
absolute necessity: Meds(ifak/salewa, painkiller, splint. Perhaps CMS if you can afford it.), Backpack(you will 100% regret it if you dont bring at least a scav backpack)

just to explain a lil bit, the reason is almost any kind of shit round pens at least lvl3. and any helmet that I didn't write there are either: lower than lvl 3, or higher than lvl3 but doesn't have a faceshield, which is absolutely crap
