the movement in arena is different (inertia) and people just behave very differently

you also will not be using the gear that is in arena un real tarkov most of the time

the best way to improve is to accept that deaths are part of the game not care and just keep throwing yourself in there

arena gives xp and the ability to buy good gear and utility items from ref and many people just enjoy the gameplay but for purely improvement it is not worth

Pull up a map to be careful of mines. They're on top of the water treatment mountains and around front and some inside camp

The bridge to get to the lighthouse has claymores and sniper boss that will kill you if you go without the item to get safely to lightkeeper but there's a big gate you have to pass through and a bridge to cross so you're not gonna end up there on accident

If you're BEAR the USEC rogues will aggro you automatically. If you're USEC you can get into the camp, if you're too close to them they'll tell you to fuck off and aggro if you enter specific areas. I'd recommend watching a video for rogues

If youve got the dongle the minefield starts at the barbed wire gate. Don't aproach the guards or they turn hostile, if you stay off the rocks you should be fine.
Don't shoot other protected PMCs on the island or you decode your dongle.

Yeah you can explore the island just try to look for the guards and don't get too close to them or they aggro if you stand near for too long. They post up on some rocks, apparently you can aggro them inside one of the buildings if they're out on the rocks so just keep moving and be quick looting. If you aggro them, just let them kill you. You don't want to have to re-encode your thing by shooting back.
Don't shoot pmcs on the island OR crossing the bridge or you get decoded.

regarding moonshine u dont get xp for completing the craft but u get the time based xp and no there isnt a way to track what u last crafted, but it should be pretty easy to know since ull be claiming the craft right before u start a new one

if u want to level up crafting asap u should be choosing the 2 lowest time crafts in each module and add them as favourites so theyre easily accessible and swap between them and then for overnight crafts choose a long craft

Hey guys, I've got some Problems: Did a raid with a mate, while extracting my game froze, i had to reconnect and run to another exit, es the first exit wasnt open for me now. 100m before the other extract i was put back to the lobby with "killed in action" and my sicc case, docs case and stim case was somehow gone. Restarting the game or repairing the game did nothing. And i cant continue the savior ending. I am now stuck at "Complete Fences assignment" and cant continue (shoreline and interchange are labeled as 5/5 pmc, but nothing is following up now. BTR driver also has no new story quest for me. PvE is a paid expansion, it's a separate character on local servers
nothing is shared between PvE and PvP
you do have practice mode for free you can do, which is like an offline raid
nothing saves, but it's great for learning maps and getting better at fighting scavs and bosses

There's a bunch of spawns, they are set but they can vary between raids.
As for extracts, all players that spawn on the left side of the map will have the right side extracts, and vice versa. So there's 2 sets of extracts for each map. It sort of forces everyone to cross the map

you need to cros the half point of the map ( uf you spawn left side of the map you need to go to the right side

exstrations ar mostly on the oustide egg of the map

there are coop exstration (pmc/scave ) but you wil hardly use these

(hard to trust your sworn ennemy but yoiu do get rewards to do this

there are tranfer to difrent maps u can use these and if lets say your game crashes buy acksedent you wil not tranfer and go to your main page to bad right

there are exstration that the 2 side can use ( like u ask) on customs there is the zbz13 exstration where u need to flip a power switsh in the building nexst to oldgastation then have the facktory exstration key to exstrackt

and there ar green flare exstrations you walk over if it says pop flare us use a flare and now you can exstract at this poin for 1/2min

You need to cross the half point of the map (If you spawn on the left side of the map you need to go to the right side) (He forgot to mention extracts like Dorms V-Ex where if you spawn right on dorms, you can just pay 20k rubles, also more or less depending on your scav karma, more positive karma lowers the price. The car needs to spawn, and on Streets and i think Woods it doesn't ALWAYS spawn)
Extractions are mostly on the outside edge of the map
There are co-op extracts PMC + scav, but you won't use them much, and if you do, Fence will give u random stuff, but don't always trust them - (make them pull out their knife or something)
There are transfers to different maps you can use, and there is a bug, in which you Alt+F4 to close the game right as the screen goes black. It will stop the transfer process, and extract you. If you aren't fully healed tho, it won't auto heal you, so heal afterwards.
There are exfils that both PMC's and Player Scavs can use, for example there's The Dorms V-Ex, but PMC's need the car and Scavs need to just approach the gate. The name is "Old Road Gate". A better example than ZB-1013, is RUAF gate. It's near the bridge that connects both sides of the map, just on the end. There's also crossroads behind the big red warehouse

Like 70% of learning a map is player behavior - spawn routes, hotspots, the flow, the timings, etc
You just gotta keep playing it, I find playing a map with someone experienced can be quite helpful
