for your beginner quest, if the goal is to survive, first learn the map a bit in offline mode, where your extracts are, and then wait at least 7 minutes since the match start to try and extract

going on the edges helps

extracting when 7 minutes of raid has not passed without getting the exp threshold (check wiki for run through) will not count most of the quests as completed. You can extract earlier if you get some kills and loot, but since your goal is to survive and you are new best be silent and wait it out a bit

yea the entire map is just about a mall, like 90% of the map and loot is inside the mall.

u can run around from the corners and 90% of the time no one will even know you existed

u can just move off the spawn a bit, then make a route on the corners of the map to reach your extraction, you will gain nothing along the way but you will extract safely

oh also, to avoid run through, you will need to gain 200xp, which can be obtainable by killing scavs or pmcs(dont suggest) looting(still very low xp) or to spend 7 minutes in the raid to get survival xp(safest way, just check the timer when u spawn and make sure 7 minutes have passed before u start extracting)

Note that I'm trying to do punisher - part 4 at the same time
I've killed 5 PMCs on lighthouse with the same gun design template, I've got only 2 kills marked for Test Drive 1, but 5 kills for Punisher 4, using the same weapon on the same map wearing the same gear.
It's possible I used a different scope mount (Lobaev 40mm vs NF 30mm?) Did something change about Test Drive 1?

fellas what percent of your money goes into ur average kit, i feel like i've been playing this game a little stingy, racked up 53 mill with 1000+ gp coins but i still go tier 4 armor with slightly modded 5.45/5.56 with usually mid ammo(whatever ammo i can get my hands on) what should i spend the money on? im saving the gp coins for thicc cases and i cannot really buy good ammo from traders so this money is sitting useless

5.56 SOST+ a G36 with only a reflex sight and tier 4 kit with sordin/xcel is one of my most common kits for reference

yea, once you progress in chapter tour to "locate entrance to terminal" aka go near the terminal gate on shoreline, then go to that radio station and press that button, then extract from shoreline(dont have to do all that in one raid) u have to give 5 dogtags to prapor for reserve and 20k usd to mechanic for lighthouse

i dont recommend lighthouse, delay it as much as u can

every boss have their own behaviour, like tagilla pushes u with hammer or calls guard on u to flush u out, while the goons all move together (skull mask and big pipe) and try to ambush u while the sniper one try to get behind u to knife u.

but what works with all of them are nades, throw a nade and make them move and try to take them out

yes there are a lot of maps, intreactive/3d models/ just pick of tarkov ingame maps.

some maps shows PMC spawns check those, people (mostly chads) pushes other people spawns.

Press O 2 times and it will show u the time u have in that raid. if it reaches 0 its game over = MIA

If u are playing scavs, dont shoot other scavs, they are friednly and u will loss scav karma, better karma = better gear on scav and can o raids sooner (reduces cooldown).

scav are free runs u dont loss anything if u die but gain everything u get out with, PMC (your character) and scav have diff extracts, they do share SOME extracts.

I just had this issue, and found a fix that worked for me

I fully closed the launcher, went to AppData\Roaming and deleted the Battlestate Games folder (make a backup of this, as i think it removes your settings, just in case)

Then i opened the launcher and i could just click play.
