Kaban is a weird fight tbh depending on what side you push from the guards on the roof can fuck you over to best advice don’t be sparing with grenades and don’t ego peak

My personal opinion pushing it from check/tar bank side of lexos can be easier just come from the side of check cause that gl can smoke you before you even have a chance

Depends. If they don't know you're around, just wait for them to come to you. Make sure you aim at head height to kill them quickly.

If they do know you're around, then gotta be quick. Use right hand peaks, change cover from time to time, try not to expose yourself too much when fighting people, and PLEASE do not slow peak them in the middle of a fight. When you slow peak someone, you're asking to be killed because it makes you very easy to be killed

Knowing spawnable locations is the big one. Are we talking PVE or PVP? If you know the location then it comes down to how you want to fight them. Big one is right hand peaks, do not repeak them without grenading or forcing them to move, if you kill one know which one you did will tell you if you'll get rushed or not or their behavior(Big Pipe or Bird Eye kill will get you immediately rushed by Knight), and night raids really cuts their vision down now.

Even easier if that's the case since the AI PMC's are fairly easy to deal with on most maps where goons are. IMO, one of the hardest maps for them is Lighthouse due to the nature of the rogue base and the chalet. You can, however, in a night raid kill them from the main sniper mountain without a lot of issues. Careful after a kill as Bird Eye can sometimes range their but normally he hides in the lower chalet the entire time.

Customs, easiest place to fight them is the newer warehouse west of the scav base in the middle. The wall that splits the new railway cross through and the big open area of the scav base causes a funnel on their AI. As well it's a good place to fight Cultists if their up at the same time. I've had it happen a couple times fight all of them at once.

Shoreline, day time you are pretty cooked if you get a close spawn to the radar tower. Bird Eye will immediately start shooting the heck out of you. Personnel, I fight them only at night on shoreline and I pull them all the way to a big rock towards the resort. It cause the AI to have a bit of issues so Knight and Big Pipe will run straight to me on a line making shooting them easier till they hit a certain spot. Bird Eye is a bit tricker, but mostly for hit just force move him with grenades if you know the general location. Dude will flat out run forever giving you plenty of time to shoot him.

Woods: I forgot they spawn there since I don't even bother with scav bunker now. Don't bother trying to hunt them there. They typically never spot you at the USEC camp now unlike previous patches. It's a bad interaction there. Knight and Big Pipe will rush from the scav bunker if they do. You can force them to stop-turn at the top of the hill on the north side of the usec camp making them easy kills. Good luck with Bird Eye after that. Hard to find and he never rushes plus all the trees makes it difficult and more likely you'll die.

Realistically, the decision there is playing like they are always there until you clear or confirm they're not. It goes the same for any possible locations for all of the bosses. It's easier said than done initially, but you get the hang of it after awhile as the playtime hours rack up.

Especially in PVE having played since the beginning I will straight up YOLO most of the game now without a care and maintain an incredibly high KD/survival rate/survival streak. (I have over 5k hours in PVP as well, but I don't have the time like I used to to play PVP now)

Eventually you kinda get a 6th sense of where players want to be heading normally, or would be from spawns. Since ideally you have the map up showing you spawns nearby. After time has passed you can largely assume players have trickled out of this area, the only people lingering are either looting slow, lost, or hunting.

Personally, I’d recommend learning Reserve or Streets of Tarkov as a scav map. Customs is a fine map too because it’s easy for you to sweep. Interchange is also a favorite of mine but personally, it’s been weird since the expansion. Unpredictable atm.

There’s this idea that you should shorten your time playing as scav because you’re not progressing your PMC, but this is wrong. Scav runs teach you a lot. And when you extract with them you do still get the shit so win win

So I basically bought Tarkov, installed the launcher on Steam, hit play, then it popped up the login window, it told me to make an account on BSG, I made one with only one email address, then when I went back on Steam to try and login through the window pop up again, it said that my Steam account was already linked to another BSG account, and to "click sign in with Steam on the authorization form".

I 2nd this, I would pick a map you like and scav it a bunch. Learn the ins and outs, or where players tend to rush or they are usually at i would watch videos and stuff of where loot is. I personally like Shorelines just because theres a ton of rooms that are always unlooted with med bags. U can easily come out with lots of meds or op scopes things like that.

Hey all, I am super confused. I went through the tutorial twice now (PvP and PvE) and each time I try to do the double tap O+O to see extraction point to leave and it just says 'Go to X Street' but like thats it. I see no map or anything, so here I am with loot trying to rush through looking for an extract that is god knows where and I have still yet to figure it out. Do you basically just have to forget actually looting anything and B line it for the extract or go MIA in the tutorial? It feels like there is zero chance to get used to the game (and its crazy choices in keybindings) before you have to basically sprint to some random place you cant figure out.
