if you have level 2 traders, I would get a ratnik from Prapor and m32s from skier i think. having ears is super important, same with helmet. i would also bring another full mag, and put a basic forgrip and light on the AK. you have to make guns worth running, if you dont want to mod a gun, take an SKS or shotgun

yeah, most of the ammo from traders is pretty bad. i suggest hitting the ammo spots as a scav and stacking up the ammo. you want PS, PP, BT, BS, BP for your AK. tons infront of Idea, ther are several armor and gun spawns there too.

it was confusing for me too. first you need to link your account on the battlestate website to twitch. then go to a twitch streamer for example landmark, mute the browser (but the stream itself needs to be umuted!) and set to 160p and dont minimize it then it should work, you can see if it works if you press your profile and the progress bar goes up

maybe but as long as you are doing quests i would say that you can go there but once those are finished i would recommend trying to move on but if you really like that map then sure you can go there.

is trying to get max hideout as soon as possible a good idea? I've been running non stop GZ runs lately to try and get as many hideout things done so I can craft better stuff?

so: 1 try to play as scav to get some gear to your main character. 2 dont be afraid of gear fear. try to always have a helmet and body armor, 6b2 flora from prapor and ssh-68 are good starter armors that people wont loot often. 3 remember the basics: you need energy and water topped off, ALWAYS carry some way to restore HP, some way to restore light bleed, some way to restore heavy bleed and some way to recover fracture. put one cheese (aI-2 medkit), bandage, esmarch and splint in your pouch. 4 then if you do have gear fear and dont want to buy armors and helmets, atleast try to go for glock 17 from mechanic its a really good pistol early game and run in with that, a secondary magazine and some extra loose bullets plus the meds in your pouch. dont forget to always insure as well. eventually you will begin learning what is good or not. also use external sources if you can, personally i use fandom wiki for maps and quests and tarkov market website for learning what items are good or not.

the best things to do is to go do quests, the rest will come naturally if you do them. after a while you will still need to do them because some upgrades are gated behind trader levels (1-4)
