Can anyone point me at some resources for actually finding worthwhile loot? I don't know what I'm missing, but I keep hearing about how it's easy to make out with a a few hundred thousand roubles in a raid, and I just can't seem to swing it? It's not that I'm just getting too much attrition, but everything I find is just not worth that much? A few scopes worth like 8-20k, a bunch of miscellaneous optics and trash ammo, and maybe a decent gun if I'm lucky? I just dunno what I'm missing

The reason Streets runs so poorly compared to other shooters you are used to is that Tarkov's maps are enormous and Streets, specifically, has very complicated architecture that needs to stream a lot of textures very quickly to prevent awful pop in. In a game like Tarkov it is better to get 50fps when you'd normally be getting 90 than to run into a room that someone is in and have pop in.

Move slow, volume up, listen to noise. Tarkov is as much a game of hide and seek as anything. If you haven't, run a bunch of practice runs of the map you're on to learn where everything is. AI scavs are much easier than real players, but they have good enough aim to punish you making a racket or not watching the area around you. Make sure you're using your scav cooldowns as much as possible as well - scav is all benefit, no drawback. Either you extract with stuff or you lose nothing but time.

I've noticed the game is extremely finnicky about the item being in the stash proper, and not inside a container of some sort that's sitting in the stash, when it comes to handing in quest items

All the wine bottle look the same im afraid, best thing to do is scan each shelf and look for the white perception dot and pick up anything you find. The wine you need for the quest will be named "Wine"

It's not player driven, players can go into it and pay the BTR Driver to do a cover fire, which means the BTR will shoot anything on sight and pretty much 1 tap you, but it won't shoot you if no one did a cover fire, it also cant be killed and if you go in front of it while it's driving, it will kill you.

It needs to have enough charges left to stop the heavy bleed. For example, if you have 100 left on it, it won't stop the heavy bleed. You also need to let it run its course in healing. If you stop it before it's done fixing the bleed it's canceled. If you just randomly start using the heal, it might be healing other injuries in other body parts before the bleed, and by the time it gets to the bleed it doesn't have enough charges to stop an actual bleed.

If you're getting killed by PMCs and extract camped, there's not really much you can do other than refine your strategy and be observant. Take a look at extracts from afar, chances are if there's a camper, there'll be multiple other bodies, which is an immediate red flag

Change the gas block iirc. If you have workbecnch installed in hideout you can right click the weapon in your stash and click edit preset. Then you can play around with any and all attachments..

Double click the gun, take off the carry handle.
For the front sight, you need another gas block, it is a critical component and the gun won't work without it.
After a gunsmith task you unlock a low profile gas block you can use to replace it. Untill then you have to either use taller sights that can look over the front sight (eg the Kobra on jaeger) or one where the dot is centered on the front irons (eg the MRS on Skier).
The scope you have on now is too low profile for the front irons and you probably should use another.
