Disable V-SYNC and lower LOD quality and lower HBAO and SSR, turn off high quality colour and grass shadows

And then go through your Nvidia control panel settings and make sure it's not doing some weird stuff

its not actually a 50m zero, its a combat zero that ends up being a 40 ish meter zero

afte 40 meters, the bullet hits above your crosshair,, then it falls back down into your cross hair around 250

If this is your first wipe, I highly suggest you use the time to get comfortable with the game but in PVE mode at least until the 1.0 release/wipe day. Hardcore wipe sucks for brand new players

You can form a group and invite people

If you group with random people in game there’s a 99% chance they just instantly murder you when you spawn

You can use #lfg-info #pvp-lfg to find teammates that hopefully won’t do that

Scaving is good to make safe money

also to get free gear sets if your running low

PMC is where you need to spend most of your time since scav running wont give you XP or progression to tasks meaning you wont level up traders which unlock better gear

If your game freezes when you shoot it’s a driver issue

You must use DDU to remove all drivers and containers and then do a fresh install of your display drivers

Escape From Tarkov runs smoothly most of the time.
However, every time I shoot my weapon, the game freezes or stutters.
This issue never happened with my 6900 XT and seems specific to RX 9000 series cards.

faction doesnt matter a ton tbh the biggest thing is it changes starting gear and some other minor things like there are some mirrored quests where if you are bear you have to kill usec and vice versa

Usually if a new player is having a hard time picking a faction I'll ask if they would prefer to use Aks or M4s early on

The BTR is a taxi that is on Woods and Streets and all of its three services are cheaper to Bears

Fighting them takes a bit of tactic sometimes, also you'll need nades and flash if possible. When your behind cove or around a corner and they're closing in Try waiting until they are close but not like 10ft close to RIGHT CLICK a lob a nade out. DONT throw it so close you indanger yourself, if done right this will cause them to take cover, it's here where you should peek SAFELY and shoot the one running away that's closest to you. Bird EYE (usually) USUALLY stays back sniping from far until the others are down. Unless your closer to bird eye and take cover in front of him, I suppose. You'll have to fail in different areas to understand how they move around in the map your fighting them on. You'll learn they avoid certain areas and sometimes your able to funnel them into a call box or hall in other places. BIRD EYE does not make footstep sounds..least he's not supposed *(not sure if they changed that.) So if you kill Knight, FACE PAINT dude, and Pipe black bandana dude, just know the Birdy eye is next and is already closing in. I recently upgraded from an RX 6900 XT to an RX 9070 XT.
Escape From Tarkov runs smoothly most of the time.
However, every time I shoot my weapon, the game freezes or stutters.
This issue never happened with my 6900 XT and seems specific to RX 9000 series cards.

There's a way to completely remove the old drivers, while old drivers been removed files from the drivers can still be on pc I forgot how I done it. Could also do full reset of your pc common practice for me to do it every 8 months to a year tbh

It takes a minute to really get the patterns down and stuff, but as long as you know how to right lean and not over-commit when Tagilla inevitably doesn't die and reset the fight, as well as be prepared for Vengeful Killa on the off chance he spawns, it's not too terribly difficult.

Typically anything you would need to replace upon death

ComTacs, Helmets, armor rigs, and even facecovers to save you buying them again.

Guns are tricky, if running solo with a nice gun, its almost guaranteed your gun will be taken on death(and therefore you wont get it back anyway)- but if its a weapon you think people will leave its worth insuring
