Scav rep is important if you enjoy scavving, I've never gone negative and never will, I enjoy scavving and having a hard time isn't for me, you don't notice huge benefits until 6 rep tho

I have a bit of an issue. A few years ago (2-3 years), my brother purchased me Tarkov, so I could play with him. I played a few games with him, and then I stopped playing for a while. I completely uninstalled it and everything. I don't know how this is even possible, because I've played it multiple times in the past on this same PC. Though, my SSD that it was originally on did die. I have played this game for 5 years plus, the amount of cheaters has neither significantly increased or decresed in that period, if you play like a normal person not a streamer you will probably have a game ruined by a cheater a couople times per wipe (6 moth period) i dont think this is unplayable. Many people love to talk about how they meet a cheater every third raid but they must be playing a difrent game from me

Oh okay, let’s say you enter the emmercom checkpoint, from the side that faces more towards the woods, not the lake, if you walk out from that way turn slightly to the right and just keeps going, you should see a hunting post thingy, I don’t know what it’s call, there should be a paper on the ground near it, there should be a crashed plane near it, but don’t go near the plane, just find that hunting post

Yes and killing traitor scavs, heres a trick, if you wanna spam rep, constantly take transits as a scav, each transit counts as a successful scav raid and gives you .01 boost, you can do it infinitely if you have the time in theory

scav as often as you can

most of the loot you can find for free is in small duffle bag spawns and in free safe locations

too many people go out and want to get the big loot without going in with much gear, it’s possible just not the best situation

i scav in shoreline and just loot weather station/pier/scav island/ cottages/ and if it’s around 10minutes ill loot bus station and resort admin building for file cabinets and loot east resort key spawns

there’s a chance to get 2 knossos keys from there every raid and they go for 50k each

usually leave every raid on scav with 300k+ in either gear or items

Theres two different versions. Ones for the flare gun and theres this one which dosent require a flare gun, both can be used for green flare extracts just make sure to shoot it into the sky in the area marked Flare Extraction Zone and don’t shoot it straight up or it may not work

In the “box out” process of making maps, the layout is made very rudimentary and the actual accessibility of areas isn’t spoken into existence yet. typically the doors will either be a texture (for non-interactive doors) and then in the map designing process, “real” doors will get used to fill in doorways and thresholds depending on what sections of the maps may want to get used later. By default, most of those doors will be “locked” in functionality, thus allowing you to breach them, but have no other interaction

most props that are placed in the game world that you have the ability to loot are usually set to be lootable by default. So think gym bags, static bodies, certain weapon crates, etc. There are certain cases where (I assume) they have two different world objects of the same mesh for the sake of work flow. Say the green weapon crates that are 2x5. There is a lootable version, and a “prop” version. But in some instances, like filing cabinets, they have multiple meshes. The standard one you loot, and variants of them already being opened. The standard ones will always have the looting functionality unless otherwise disabled. There are a few instances where they’re in plain reach and unlootable because someone overlooked the function.

On old shoreline, you were able to angle yourself in the window of the little hut and got the center dot for interacting and with enough perception skill level, you could loot them. I’m not sure if you can now

This also applies to the dead scav in a boat in the middle of the lake on the woods. It’s always been lootable but because you can’t reach it by normal means, nobody knew

Streets also has one of these nuances in the second floor of the mall. Someone put some dead scavs out of reach in a hallway next to a fence. But if you free look carefully you can loot one of them because they didn’t expect you to try looting them
