The AGS is always a health risk but incredible powerful you are spitting a hundred grenades out on the map

you can do both @daring geyser if you go fast the chance of someone coming behind you is high. If you go oo slow you need to fight your way inside. As a solo it can be rough either way

i prefer the fast way, which as always is easier with a team. Going the slow way you might safe yourself the getting the key part

i turned off hyperthreading in bios, gave me a MASSIVE boost in rust, tarkov just slightly. i debloated windows fully with poweshell. i make sure NOTHING unecassary is running in the backround , and if i need the programs in the backround i use process lasso to make them lower cpu priority

and make them use the last few cores

make only tarkov and system tasks run on all cores

discord etc make it not use 4 of the first cores

cuz thats what tarkov focuses

as a new player I would suggest just focusing on learning one map for a while doing many maps when you are trying to learn can be a lot

The 1st thing I would suggest is watch a beginner video. Then I would do a scav to get some loot. Use a map from the website. I recommend customs or ground zero as a starter map. Maybe woods too actually but it’s up to you what you choose. Focus on learning that 1 map for a while.

Genuinely I recommend watching “Pestily” raid series. As he explains while he’s playing the raids. Why he win or lose fights. Why he’s walking certain routes through a map. Where the loot is and so on. Watch this series on your spare time.

Genuinely this is a hardcore wipe so I don’t think any beginner videos will be adapted very well for this wipe specifically. But at least you get a perspective of where extracts are and so on. Swampfox is a good one yea

And id like to mention if you’re playing as a scav it’s important to not kill any other scavs. This will affect your “scav karma”. It will punish you severely. Like for example, it will increase the cooldown timer every time you’re allowed to play as a scav

The ai is Scavs, and if they look like locals with shitty gear they’re Scavs. Pmc’s usually have camo clothes on em. Or Hawaiian shirts

how much ammo and mags do you normally take in?

You can go to traders and click on fence. He will show you what your scav karma is. Normally you start barely above 0.01 or something like that. It’s important you keep yourself above 0 or else it turns into negative karma
