Nothing more hardcore than running through three maps to get to an item you need and then die to Killa rushing your ass. Honestly I can understand why you say too. I've had 7 mates quit this already and go back to another game like this. It's more I think the game has no penalties and the biggest thing is you have Scav, BEAR and USEC but yet the PMC groups kill one another on the same side. It makes little sense..

i think its poor optimization. ground zero for me in last patch, before wipe, it couldnt run very well, but now it runs just fine but takes ages to load into. long ago, back in 2019, 21, 22 i could play the game perfectly. but in 23, it all changed and i couldnt even play most maps. lighthouse, forget about it though. that i couldnt at all. now i can play them just fine, atleast in pve. its 100% optimization. in beginning of 24 i went crazy playing the game in pve. i could finally play it so well. my guess is they will optimize the game next patch and you can play again and others may not be able to play at all. its not the best.

If your menu is getting less than 60 fps it isn't a game issue it would be a your PC having an issue somewhere but without you actually doing a full diagnostic, it would be a pure guessing game as to what the issue is.
I'd either try and figure it out through those tests or have someone that does know what they are doing take a look.

100k is very cheap for a loadout, no problems there. I think you have an issue with dying, try to see where you are when you die, where the enemy was and just reflect on your deaths to see where you could improve. like your positioning, how to peek a certain door ect.

Remember armor, helmets, gun, gun attachments, backpack etc etc will also effect you in different ways and not all gear items are the same level of effect. Stick to a similar set up for a while to get used to it

I've found the PP-19 with a cheap scope on it to be a great head tapping scav killer so far!

is there a reason why sometimes AI scavs shoot at you when you play as a scav yourself even when you don't have negative karma or didn't attack one before? I had a situation on woods where another scav started shooting at me when I was heading for the exfil. I thought it was a player scav being a dick, but it was actually an AI. I thought I'll get negative karma for killing him, but on the results it said I got points for killing a traitor scav. Weird.

BSG had issues keeping coders because most of them would be on work visa to London where BSG is set up, so they had to get hired, move, be taught the code and then figure out how to code something for the game and by that time the visa is expired.

They should have handled it better, I don't down play that, but I won't ignore the just real world issues they faced during the development.
