@crimson thicket i just had a interchange scav run, a pmc was camping both exits at both corners of the map. I waited till 30 seconds to run for the extract and he killed me, but theres no way he couldve extracted in time. Im guessing he's just ruining scav runs for the fun of it since its late wipe?

Extract timer does only take like 7 seconds but yeah if he wasn't close enough would have gotten an MIA. Mental behavior from that guy tbh.

lucky mostly, IF you're struggling in pmc fights wait until near end of raid and just sprint through them all. If you pop SJ6 and Trimadol stims you have infinite stamina for around 4 mins. It does zap your water and energy so defiantly bring food if that's how you're going to do it. If you get the closest spawn to the pier try and get that one done first it can be the most annoying part of shoreline sometimes.

If it's the only quest trying to do on shoreline. Just take the bare minimum to kill scavs assuming you're going to avoid fights and hide a bit. It's more of whether you feel confident enough to fight other pmcs.

The resort is a high traffic pmc area. So either take a kit ready to fight or just wait around a bit in raid if pmcs are giving you that much trouble. Pier is just annoying to run into and out. Single file areas suck. Cottages is usally fine you can dip in and out really fast.

Yeah it seems Theta just shits on Gamma now unless I'm missing something? So in other words, $200 for unheard just for gamma is pointless now since you can get Theta for free as you are given 3d arena free trial as long as you can do ref questline within that time frame? Or is there something I'm missing that makes Theta slightly worse

Imo probably not unless you want Gamma and slightly more pockets. It'll give you a slightly higher trader rep which makes questing a bit easier at the start but its nothing crazy. Seems like with the new Theta especially if you own Arena you are given a pretty decent secure container for half the price though there is a 3 day free trial for arena in ref questline

I believe so same with Kappa but the ref questline seems pretty quick thankfully and you may not even have to buy Arena as long as you can get it done within 3 days. I'm pretty sure Skier will unlock ref for you then you do his poster shit. Once you get the quest "The Great Heights" I think after pt 1 or pt 2 he'll give you arena for 3 days and so far the questline seems pretty quick to reach Theta

so you dont really need Unheard as it stands for a good secure container, as that was the only way to get Gamma. Though Pt 4 of questline kinda annoying you gotta give 1 million rubiles and win 3 games and if you lose 4 games, you have to give him another 1 mil and try again

Why can't they just implement a gear score like in dark and darker where you only get matched against players within a gear score range so if you want to run non-meta guns, you only go against people using similar guns. I was told unless you have access to 35 pen or higher ammo which if you are late wipe and don't have traders 3 or higher, you literally cant get the ammo unless you randomly find it and your only hope of killing those players is leg meta or lucky face shot otherwise you are at a severe disadvantage which def not good for us noobs coming in late. and again I get thats point of the game get shit on by ppl coming in with good gear

All you have to do is play the game and you’ll get access to that same stuff and you can find it all very easily in raids, it’s really not as big a deal as you’re making it out to be

And if you do kill someone, you suddenly have a decent loadout right there, there are tons of ways to kill someone who has better gear than you, if you give a Timmy a zabralo and an altyn I’ll still beat him with a kedr any day

Crack house on custom is next big known spot to find salewa but it can be a hot spot, on the bright side you can spawn there and quickly loot and scoot, I have also heard GZ gives a bunch of salewas as well

Hey, I'm looking to get better at tarkov, money and pvp wise. I've been stuck in most of my wipes, with 1 mil being a shit ton for me. I know a good ammount of the game but I don't really know how to apply it. I've looked over my playstyle and its very slow and I've wanted to change that up but I've tried and my raids dont last long and my survival rate sucks ass lol. I've looked into what I should be doing, learning the spawns, learns where people go, where they should in a certaion point in the raid, etc. What can I do to learn those spawns, learn where they go, etc. My games dont really help because its so slow that I dont get info but when I try to play fast it works out sometimes and 80% of the time, I die because I don't know where anyone would be or who is around me. any tips? (For the money situation, I scav whenever I can, I try to liquidate most things I can that dont anything to do that can help like sellables, etc)

i did not find any raiders or any rogues

are they in the pve mode ?

Depends on the parts in question.
Could be something about how you insured it, often people insure a gun and then add or remove a piece and then they go into raid with that one piece not insured so you end up with a gun in pieces.
This has caused some people to make the claim that haxors can dismantle and steal your gun parts in raid.

Could someone break this down for me? (not a rant, I genuinely think I'm misunderstanding something). 9 hits with M80 (other 1 hit was a scav headshot earlier). Even with cult locust and a level 3 aramid backer there is a 99% chance to kill at 5 hits according to tarkovgunsmith. I'm very certain that I at least hit him 4 times in the chest area, the other shots were point fire into a flashlight Did I actually shoot two different guys or what happened here? Is the hit count an accurate metric, or could 1 round count as multiple hits? I know this is the case with ammo that fires multiple projectiles, but not sure if it applies to normal rounds

they are w factions of former military contractors. They get different starting gear. NATO weapons for USEC and Russian stuff for BEAR. They have different clothing choices. Okay. So I keep getting an apparent bug where my gun won't fire? It is NOT a malfunction or keybind issue. About every 5th game or so, when I ADS my gun just wont shoot - I have to click fire like 5 or 6 times, go out of ADS/back in and it will eventually fire (no weapon fix/reload/etc required). It's almost like really bad desync but my internet is fine and it doesn't happen with any other interactions with the game world (looting/doors/etc).

Biggest performance increase I found was in Settings / Game, set "Automatic RAM Cleaner" to ON. I have 32GB of RAM and it still gave me a solid FPS boost.

You had a light bleed so your head was at 1hp then the light bleed brough it to 0 correct? I assumed it was blacked out? You cannot heal head or thorax after they go to 0 its best if this happens to avoid fights and extract asap.

Iirc default keybind is ctrl + T to cycle between tactical device modes. If you have multiple devices on one gun they both toggle on the same keybind so you'd have to take one device off, toggle the other on and add the removed one back to the gun, that way you can switch between flash/laser by pressing T to toggle between them.

That somewhat overcomplicates things tough and you won't be able to turn both off at the same time. Best to use a combined tac device like the Baldrpro that has both so you can CTRL-T to toggle between modes.

yeah woods is a pain to learn, the best advice I can give is use the mountain in the middle of the map as a kind of main POI to guide yourself

mapgenie has detailed maps if you have another monitor it's a good way to put it to use lol

I need help my FPS is horrible kinda... So I have a rtx 3060 gpu 32 gigs of ram with a amd ryzen 5600x cpu mid tier build had it for a while now ive tried multiple different settings and tutorials or recommendations and still nothing has worked low or high settings i always seem to get about 50 - 70 and generally it stays in the low end and occasionally will jump up to the higher end I genuinely am lost and dont know what I can do to solve this issue I dont have the money to upgrade right now I will in the future but i feel like there should be a way to at very least get a stable 70 fps any thoughts suggestions information would be appreciated thanks.
