yeah id wait for 3hrs personally - my own time, if its still black screen make sure you got an older version of bios on a usb stick from a different pc before attempting to restart it or turning it off

there is still a chance of bricking it but it might be recoverable

like no joke, a bios update is the most dangerous thing to a pc if the power goes off or if you turn it off without a reason

its the most stressful part about building a pc / upgrading pc etc.

most mistakes can be recoverable, a bios update fuck up can be unrecoverable

give it as much time as you feel is comfortable for you before being keen to return it for warranty

a cmos reset could recover the old version depending on how far the update went

but if it went far enough to wipe the old version but not to get the new version and you turn it off, you're fucked

r5 3600 runs up to 4200mhz, it shouldnt be 1600 unless your ram configuration is wrong - but thats not a bios version issue unless you verified that you cant change it to 3200 in your bios - but that also depends on your mobo

its usually a simple case of bios settings

if your new 2x16 runs on the same speed and same latency it should run fine (as far as I see both run on 3200mhz and cl16, you shouldnt have issues)

just make sure to put your old 2x8 into channel 1 and new 2x16 into channel 2

2-4 seems to be "priority" per say so put new ram in 2-4 and old ram in 1-3

yeah you lose fence rep if you kill scavs as a pmc unless you kill a pmc during that raid - but in many raids you might not meet a pmc so you end up losing rep, you shouldnt use that item - it basically sucks

it wont hurt it, 2 sticks of 2x8 will run on one channel and the 2x16 will run on a different channel - in the worst case even if they didnt run properly on the same channels you will still experience a massive boost simply because of the amount of ram you got, thing about tarkov is that it uses more than 16gb of ram, when you ran out of ram it will use your drive as ram which is wayyyy slower than ram that doesnt even run on the same channel, you will get way less fps, stuttering etc - but if you got enough ram it wont have to use your drive as "ram" so it will run smoothyl

yep he did, xmp enabled at 3200, its slotted in 2-4 - but task manger and cpu-z shows 1600 - but that exact mobo is known to show the "wrong" speed (its actually right but because of the way ram works its actually right, channel bs - if youre interested you can look it up), but tldr it works fine

its just that windows doesnt detect it at "3200" even though by current standards it actually is

no need for a bios update, keep gaming

idk if you are still looking for a answer but "zeroing" equates to what range at which the bullet lands on your crosshair. if you zero to 100 and shoot and then zero to 200 and aim your crosshair on the bullet hole of the last shot without moving your bullet will land higher because by zeroing to 200 you are telling your scope you are trying to shoot farther so the scope aims more upward in order to compensate. hope that helps

update, ...... 48 gb ram now. First when i was tinkering with my pc i thought my cpu cooler was in the way. I searched on the internet and found out that I could just remove the fan. I did that and went working with the ram.

2 slots where free and 1 slot was bairly free. I tried to put it in and couldnt fit it. I removed a ram next to it and got more space to work with. Trying it again with the free space and it worked out with some luck i guess. I nearly forced the ram module in the slot.....

Now i am going to test how much more fps i get on streets

You can def earn exp faster in arena, but there's a substantial enough delay with the sync between arena and vanilla, so idk if it's worth trying to game it

Think of meds as a 5 thing checklist, 5 things can happen to you:
1: Damage: This simply is damage to any part of your body. Each part of you has a different amount of HP, and damage is simply the stat each bullet has that determines how much HP it takes when it hits an unarmored part of you. This is fixed by a medkit. There are many kinds of medkits, each will have a different amount of HP that they will restore and some will have other injuries that they can fix. (AI-2, CAR, IFAK, AFAK, Salewa, Grizzly)
2. Light bleed: This is slow Damage over time (DOT), has a chance to proc whenever you get shot, depending on the bullet. It's fixed using a bandage, as well as many medkits.
3. Heavy bleed: This is fast DOT, and functions very similarly. Some medkits can fix this, however, tourniquets are the cheapest and most available option. (Esmarch, CAT, Hemostat)
4. Fracture: When you take heavy damage you can get a fracture, which affects limbs differently. If your legs are fractured then you can't run or jump, if your arms then you can't aim without wobbling. It can be fixed using any splint, or fixed temporarily using painkillers.
5. Blackout: This happens when any limb has its HP reduced to 0. Functions the same as a fracture, but can only be fixed using a surgery kit (CMS, Surv12) or temporarily fixed with painkillers.

Try to have something to cover each of these options when going into a raid. It can range from just a medkit and painkillers, or an item to fix each injury. Up to you.

to money farm, I'd definitely take what weapons you don't prefer and legit break them down piece for piece, then sell to Mechanic, then Fence...if it's not a weapon, you're best bet is to focus on selling to therapist.

Over time you'll learn more of what's worth looting, and what's worth leaving

Ammo has 2 qualities that you should focus on - Damage and Penetration.
Damage is the damage done to unarmored parts of the target.
Penetration is the ability of an ammo type to get through particular tier of armor.
Both matter, but you need to know what side of the spectrum your ammo leans.
If you're using penetration forward ammo - you know you can aim for head and chest.
If you're using damage forward ammo, you should be aiming for legs, face, or other exposed areas.

You can double click on any bullet to see the stats

It's designed to relate to IRL weapons/ammo/armor, so if you're knowledgeable in those regions it can assist...granted it's not 100% accurate

When it comes to guns - use what seems fun. Lots of good options early on like the Op-sks, AUG, mpx, mp5, aks-74u that you can try

And when it comes to armor - there's plenty of stats - really the only thing that matter is "Armor Class"
On a scale from 1-6, higher better, just use the best you can
Loads of scavs have t4 armor on which you can't buy early on, so keep an eye out

(right now there's an event where scavs have really cracked armor so this mostly goes for after wipe)

When I first started out I started doing naked runs solo to mainly learn the maps and see the spawn of PMC's and sniper scavs. Double tap O to get your extracts and that should navigate you a lot
