Gotta hope you hear the pin, or hope you hear it roll. Chances of seeing are slim depending on fuse time. Audio sucks

If a player or an AI pulls out a nade and then you shoot them and kill, they will silently drop the nade and it will give you no audio if it was thrown. Just something to know

Ai can throw nades a lot faster than a player, so it’s less likely to happen when you kill a player and they tired to throw a nade but it still can happen

Yeah you’re gonna wanna go in on a PMC big dog. That loot gets hit within 15 minutes of raid or less if it’s active. I loot over half the valuable spawns on the map in 6-12 minutes on avg

-You want to get one map down well. Don’t spread yourself thin early on. Focus on getting good enough at one map you can always go back there and make money if you need to, then go learn others. Start anywhere but Factory. Don't spend too much time on Ground Zero.
-If you want to guarantee profit, you can always enter the cycle of scavving and offline-PMCing/Practice Mode while your scav is on cooldown. Scavving can only make you money. Practice mode is great for learning maps, learning loot runs, and getting good at killing scavs and scav bosses, and other core mechanics like hipfire. It's literally impossible to lose any money doing this, so it just stacks up while you learn a lot
-Stop running everywhere - sprinting is very loud and gives you away, it provides a lot of opportunity to ambush you. Whenever you're in high-traffic areas, be very disciplined about when you sprint.
-Have a goal in mind every raid, plan a route and try to stick roughly to it. If you notice a route failing 3 times in a row, change your route. This makes it easier to keep track of which routes actually work and which are reliably dangerous.
-Positioning is everything. In combat, frequently reposition, this is just one of the reasons map knowledge is critical and should be built and practiced ASAP. Pick your fights, don't be afraid to retreat
-The first 5-7 minutes are the most dangerous. Don’t try to push for a task or cross the map too early. Hunker down or loot near your spawn, and let things get a little more predictable.
-Ammo is more important than guns, but you need to know how to use what ammo you have. High damage vs High penetration is a critical difference - use an ammo chart.
-Learn from every death, there's almost always a lesson, recording them and watching them back really helps improve
-Most importantly, have fun with it - don't be afraid to take a break if it's frustrating you too much.

Only that specific AKM, although there is a quest called Punisher part 1 which reads Eliminate 15 Scavs while using an AKM series weapon on Shoreline
Any akm series even AK104 or VPO-136 can be used there

if you shoot a rogue iirc it takes 3 games of not shooting them to reset the aggro

for USEC i think the idea is dont shoot them or go into their buildings and they wont touch ya. takes three raids to reset if ya piss em off

outside that their normal "aggro" reset is similar to most AI, wait it out or reposition

they do get very pissy as a group during daytime and will find ya quick though so gotta make sure you got good cover as ya take em out if ya do

I thought you needed a certain skill level to be able to craft the station in the hideout that you would then need to be able to use the weapon repair kit

But I don’t even use weapon repair kits so ig I’m mistaken

only you have flea, workbench, and traders up a lil just buying a repair kit and using it is extremely money efficient
