If you're a scav, it is really dependent on your scav gear and the situation you're in. Most times you can't do much and should just avoid fights (like if you have a toz or something)

for level 10 below, I think the pp-19 is pretty decent and buyable at that level

Try to keep to one question at a time, makes it easier to get good answers.
You have it swapped. As a PMC you can kill everything and anything. As a Scav there's a karma system in place where you'll be punished if you kill friendly scavs, either AI or other player scavs.

Yea you're going to die a lot learning this game.

Here are some tips I found very useful:
-If you want to guarantee profit, you can always enter the cycle of scavving and offline-PMCing/Practice Mode while your scav is on cooldown. Scavving can only make you money. Practice mode is great for learning maps, learning loot runs, and getting good at killing scavs and scav bosses, and other core mechanics like hipfire. It's literally impossible to lose any money doing this, so it just stacks up while you learn a lot
-Stop running everywhere - sprinting is very loud and gives you away, it provides a lot of opportunity to ambush you. Whenever you're in high-traffic areas, be very disciplined about when you sprint.
-Have a goal in mind every raid, plan a route and try to stick roughly to it. If you notice a route failing 3 times in a row, change your route. This makes it easier to keep track of which routes actually work and which are reliably dangerous.
-Positioning is everything. In combat, frequently reposition, this is just one of the reasons map knowledge is critical and should be built and practiced ASAP. Pick your fights, don't be afraid to retreat
-Ammo is more important than guns, but you need to know how to use what ammo you have. High damage vs High penetration is a critical difference - use an ammo chart.
-Learn from every death, there's almost always a lesson, recording them and watching them back really helps improve
-Most importantly, have fun with it - don't be afraid to take a break if it's frustrating you too much.

Thats from the Wiki, it also says when you are killing a Rouge in a Raid you are "Hostile" for the next 3 Raids.

For USEC PMCs (or passive scavs) who have not yet been flagged as hostile by rogues: With a RGN or RGO impact grenade, they may be able to get close enough and take out a whole group with one grenade before the rogues open fire. Rogues will fire upon BEAR PMCs with no warning, making this harder to pull off.

And very important go in there with an Accurate weapon for Sniping, close distance is very very hard against Rouges

if you ever run out of bullets, you can close in your distance (like literally body to body) - it will fold their weapon (they cant clip it through you) and you can try to melee them - works decently against scavs, almost impossible against pmcs

Customs is gonna be ur best bet for learning, as much as I love tasking don’t over stress it, you can burnt out quick trying to do the same task over and over if it isn’t working out. Focus on learning a map, getting comfortable moving around it and looting.

best advice is to not dwell too hard on weapon builds if they're not attainable with your current trader levels. there are plenty of other viable options at every trader level that doesnt break the bank

there's also the kedr family, and the ppsh

surprising number of lvl 1 viable weapons now

though still limited by ammo availbility

eotech has one of the largest sight pictures with one of the smallest frames for a holo sight, holo sights work extremely well under night vision, and full auto spray, and the eotech has the smallest ergo hit as well for a holo

if you want super small frame and clean sight picture, without a holo

use the leupold deltapoint reflex

can go on almost anything, and is very clean

but also has a triangle reticle if that bothers you

srs has a very clean dot, and an okay sight picture, but the frame is too big

if you want more budget sight, with positive ergo

grab the Kobra with the shade

though you should use the chevron reticle cus it's less blurry

if you got good scav rep, go factory and insta extract - this way you can get a bunch of labs keycard and sell them for 200k each, if your scav rep is low then go some high profitable map and loot good spots (as mentioned before) - my way for under 3 scav rep if im broke (under 3mil) is going customs and doing stash runs - takes 7 minutes and you get at least 400k a run

in general i havent found a single one as loot yet but usually afaik jackets - the thing is, if your scav rep is high (fence reputation) your scav will spawn with one at the beginning, i got 45 ish labs keycards just by spawning and not looting, insta extracting

these 4 spots are fairly safe and you can find armor repair kits (300k each) and weapon repair kits (100k each) - they are heavy tho so watch out for that

its the directors office key - look in jackets, check out if you got the barter for it, if youre lvl 15 or above buy it on the market - if youre like 20mins into a customs raid there is a high chance of the room being open anyway due to a safe + intel spawn in there

i dont understand why there would be difference in kits based on progression in a 5v5 arcade

lets check it out:
330 ish to craft a round. - you craft 150 of them, meaning you spend 50,000 (rounded up) to craft them
you sell them at 1000 (worst case, usually 1300 ish but lets say worst case) meaning you get 150,000 - that gives 100,000 profit per craft (-10,000ish for flea tax) so 90k profit before fuel;
metal fuel tank lasts 21hrs, the craft is a bit under 5hrs so you get basically 4x 90k if you craft it every 5hrs meaning you get 4 crafts on one fuel, aka 360k before fuel - subtract 160k for fuel from jaeger and you get 200k pure profit, its profitable if you keep crafting but IF you got a btc farm then not only it covers the fuel + gives you profit, the btc farm is basically free

so lvl2 full btc farm + sost craft = 1,000,000+ rubles a day for free

and ofc you can do other crafts in the lavatory, med case, moonshine craft etc. to get even more money

depends on when you buy them, they flactuate during the day - if they cost you 100k then youre paying too much

15-20k each for blue and 35k for green and youre still ending up on top - its still profit, not that much bare but with bitcoin farm? it makes the bitcoin farm free without any fuel costs, the sost craft covers it all

ive seen sost go for 1400 today so that brings up the profits even if you spend more for gunpowder
