With ammo its easy, inspect the bullets and keep ones with 35 penetration and up. With equipment its mostly up to you but sell anything that you can cheaply aquire from traders. If a trader sells it for a reasonable amount youre probably better off buying it when you need it instead of hoarding it clutterering you stash

but from what I know, guns have a differing effective range that signifies how far away the bullet travels before dropping, and you zero your scope to that effective range so that the scope would show exactly where the bullet hits anywhere in that range, and you'd have to correct your aim to account for bullet drop if you go anywhere beyond that

Like all layered armor, first penetration on the first layer is calpculated, here its the visor. It can have a chance to deflect but will likely let a bullet through as its just class 2, then the bullet loses some damage amd penetration power from that amd with reduced stats hit the layer behind so lets say balistic mask mask once again has a chance to deflect absorb or let through with reduced damage and penetration. There are some edge cases where this layering will suficiently reduce damage of a round to not kill you if it was onlu slightly over 35 dmg to begin with and 2 layers are 2 chances to deflect which are also big as you can randomly deflect almost any round if youre lucky

I used that before, but it's such a pain to navigate to find your items, takes forever. The database for website shows all of it neatly organized by item type, making it a million times easier to find the ones you're looking for.
