@weary quartz learn underground. I did most of my quests by travelling underneath. A lot safer when you only have two directions to look at, and not 100 buildings.

the most dangerous time is at the start

Moa is the cone extending from your muzzle that contains all your possible trajectories of a bullet fired from it. Low moa means tge cone is closer to being a line which is good for sniping, big moa means tge cone is wider so bullet might go not exactly where youre aiming

The USEC camp, the medical camp and above all the sawmill are the big hotspots on the map, sometimes village because of the car extract and semi decent loot.
Orient yourself with the sniper mountain but you'll have to run it quite a bit to get proficient at map knowledge.
The northern half of the map tends to be somewhat empty most raids so is somewhat safer if you want to survive.
Sawmill is the big hotspot on the map, the scav boss has a habbit of shooting three round bursts with an unsupressed SVD, if you hear that the majority of the players are going to rush straight there.

treat every area with houses as if they have a pmc somewhere in them. they often do, less so later on in the raid. either you want to be the first one to arrive somewhere, or the last.

the only place that isnt a common hotspot is the cultist village in the north middle. However, that is a common travel route so you occasionally meet people passing through

its better to learn how to navigate the woods themselves and go off the beaten path. you rarely see people that way and you usually have much more cover. its just difficult to navigate, but you can use terrain landmarks to do so

I'd hate to sink hundreds of thousands of roubles into kits that I'm just gonna lose due to my poor internet or irl issues, and I'd hate to run the same kit over and over again until I'm sick of it, I want to know if there's a stable method for generating money where I can hop on, slap on whatever gun and armor i feel like, run it, switch it up and rinse and repeat until I get bored and leave

I'm not saying I want to disregard the survival aspect of the game, but I also don't want to feel pinched when it comes to cash and not having any free room to explore
