What i do is, if i think other playerscavs saw or heard me killing a player then i voip i announce i killed a pmc amd propose to split loot (i start looting first to get all tge best stuff but leave some bullshit like helmets maybe rig or shittier one of the guns to the other guy. Its polite and he is greatfull so wont kill you. If i feel like noone knows i killed a pmc then i loot him but try to retain my scav look as much as possible. I keep my scav gun amd walk around with that in my hands, keep my scav headwear, try to keep as much of the flashy gear in backpack so as not to seem as juicy of a target as i really am. And then you book it to extract voicelining along tge whole way

I reccommend doing the barter for the m4 that has one of those mags. I just sell the gun and keep the mag, last i checked it was pretty worth

You can modify your guns, you just cant use presets, but at a low level you wont have access to do the cool modifications. To answer your questions, everywhere, look at boxes, shelves, inside of crates, this map is full of loot. Customs is a good map to start looking for items to upgrade your base

Recoil stats are unique gun to gun. 100 recoil on 1 gun isn't 100 recoil on another. Also, since the recoil rework this wipe, recoil reduction matters a lot less. Generally, you just build for a balance of good ergo and a little reduction.

They're definitely nice in general. Helpful for scoping out spots, bushes, and making long shots a lot easier. Depends on the map too. Scopes are practically required for Woods or Shoreline to run them at their peak

yeah i do find myself using them quite a bit but when i have to fight someone up close, i am MUCH better with like a holo than the 1x on any variable scope

Yeah but point firing kind sucks now compared to ads. It's a pain. Still can work, just a lot less consistent. Running one is also dependent (for me) on the speed of the round. 7.62x51/54r & 5.56 are very fast bullets and make long shots a lot easier to hit. I almost always run one on them.

how bad is the bullet drop in this game? i was using the gornostay (whatever its called, that one sniper) at points 1, 2, and 3 on the map. I shot and killed a scav from 1 to ? which showed 118m, and i aimed right at his head and got a headshot. I shot 1 mag from 1 to the red, and 2 mags from 2 to red and i didnt hit him at all, even with adjusting up every shot. is the bullet drop just really bad or was he bugged to just not take damage

do you guys just sell all the guns / ammo / mags you get and then buy your preferred loadout with it? My inventory is getting way too full of random guns / mags / ammo im picking up or from scav runs that i tell myself ill use, but they come in faster than i can die with them since im playing scav off cooldown. And then theres stuff coming back from insurance too
