Most likely moved into a boss aggro zone - if the boss aggros on you, you get tagged by other scavs in the area.

AKS-74U is extremely viable this wipe, try running scav on places like reserve and watching for ammo boxes, you can collect BT, BP, PP, PS and BS for it and stand a good chance against the current meta. Although if you're lucky - you can kill people by penning the aramid around plates even with bad ammo.

Guys, I've played like 4 wipes now, but I'm coming back in here because something is fucking me up this wipe idk what it is but I just CAN. NOT. EXTRACT. on my PMC

Money wise I'm fine, my scav runs go great, but as soon as I'm on my PMC it sends a notice to every player, scav, and player scav in the lobby to drop what they're doing and find me

I have over half a mil roubles, AFTER buying my first scav chest from therapist.

Done all the quests on Ground Zero, Now I'm mainly running Customs and scaving Interchange.

Generally passive gameplay

I try to avoid gunfire when I hear it because I can't compete with flea built weapons

But I'd say a ton of my deaths are one taps from prone people near exfils or people who I assume having been moving for the past 5 minutes because I hear nothing and then BLAMMO 30 shots from a room I walk by

I find pacing helps on customs. Knowing spawns and common rotations can help avoid needless fighting if you are just trying to quest or loot

you also dont have anything to cure a heavy bleed so you can put a tourniquet in the last slot in the gamma

if you use the ifak for the heavy bleed it will take something like 200hp off the item so itll be useless for healing

besides that its fine for your current situation

M80 and LPS are basically the same, but .308 rifles are better than 54r in meta stats. If you're going for cheap - 54r with an SVT or Hunter with .308 are pretty close
