you have to do the quests if you want to make money

flea is a gamechanger, so focus on quests and getting to lvl 15

Ground zero is great for learning basics. You will be going against players of a similar level. Loot loads there and get the xp and sell what you don't need

If you're new I'd actually suggest staying on ground zero for most of your raids until reaching level 15. Use your scavs to learn other maps like customs and woods. As most of your early tasks will be there. Then learn shoreline

Loot everything until you know what doesn't sell for much. Use ground zero to get what you need for hideout upgrades and early quest items aswell. Stock up on some food/water and loads of meds

The quicker you get your hideout upgraded the quicker you'll level up as there are loads of pmc skill level benefits to the hideout

Try to get the gym, library, water collector to max and air filter going. All will helps loads. Also level 3 shooting range has good perks too

if kaban spawns he will spawn with multiple guards and the lexos building is basically a fortress with machineguns and automatic grenade launchers

walking through that area is fine

as long as kaban doesnt spawn then u need to modify ur route a bit

like i dont really know how u died except for being too close to the grass cuz walking on the middle of the road should be fine in the red area and no guards should really see u

depends what traders you have unlocked and which quests you've done. you can get korund lvl 5 front plate from prapor3 after a quest. and korund lvl 5 back plate from prapor3 without any quests. you can put those plates into korund or even 6b23.
there are a handful of t5 plates you can get from traders / barters.
osprey is a pretty cheap barter (~135k) which is a t5 armored rig if you have it unlocked.
korund can be bought for ~185k if unlocked.
there's two armored rigs with t5 armor that you can craft in lavatory once you have done the quests. (for those, you need to provide one of the t5 plates and then the craft generates 2 within the armor. but getting 1 of the plates to start can be tough until you have ragman4)

my personal rec would be to run either kirasa or press armor with t4 plates inside. for the kirasa, i like the monoclete plates (20-30k on flea). for the press, you can put monoclete in the back and then you put a 6b13 plate into the front.
these often come back in insurance because they are normally t3 armors so people dont often expect there to be t4 plates inside of them (and the people who do expect it, are often using better armor anyways).

i dont remember if its ragman2 or 3, and they both require a handful of interchange quests to unlock, but there's a barter to get THOR armor for ~70-80k which is a t4 armor with t3 soft coverage. and a barter to get 6b3tm armored rig for ~55k.
6b3tm rig comes back in insurance very often. it has full t4 coverage on front + sides but only t2 on the back.

In the beginning i did a small sheet, where i wrote all the mistakes i did, that lead to death.
I would then look at them before every fight. When died again to same mistake, i would write | there.

playing aggressive is fine but you have to play within your means, the best players don't have just one playstyle they adapt, because no raid is exactly the same as the last and you only have so much control over what happens, so dont always resort to rushing or always hiding, analyze the situation youre in and determine the best strategy from there
