Start in Woods or Customs(my suggestion, start anywhere but Factory). You want to get one map down well. Don’t spread yourself thin early on. Focus on getting good enough at one map you can always go back there and make money if you need to, then go learn others.

Use these maps - they'll look cluttered at first. Hit "Hide All" on the left-hand toolbar, then scroll down and only toggle on "Extractions" and "Locations". That'll give you a pretty good look - feel free to toggle on some loot options as you go

Head into a practice mode on one of those maps, toggle on some AI scavs, and try to get a feel for the map, movement, gunplay, scav killing, etc.
When you're ready - try to scav into one of those maps and actually get some loot out.
Then you can take your PMC in and try to do some quests or loot or simply survive.
Good luck - you will die, try to have fun with it.

Yea, theres a button you gotta press and then the alarm goes off for as long as hermetic door is open. When the alarm is done ringing you camt extract anymore and need to press it again. Dont confuse the hermetic door thats next to train station with the d2 extract which is underground

Tarkov is the reason I have a PC. i also started on Tarkov, any game after Tarkov is easy compared, just suffer thru the learning curve and it will be well worth it. there are alot usefull "aim/shooting programs". and use your mouse and keyboard apps, they can help customize the keyboard and mouse to your liking

You should aways use headsets of some kind. the armor depends a lot on whats going on with your stash and what your trying to do. i suggest some armor so you can deal with things like scav shotguns a bit more. cant always garuntee you will be at range

For your first wipe make sure to learn the game, spend the money to master all kinds of weapons, pvp boss hunting and other gameplay elements. do as many quests as you can. Its important to learn all that. Probably your second wipe is a better time to rush to 100mil when youre 100% comfortable with the game and know exactly what to do

Yep! Once a limb (arms, legs, stomach) is blacked it evenly spreads damage to other limbs. So if you're using a gun that doesn't really penetrate armor well, you want to be hitting people's extremities. You can dump all the flesh ammo you want into class 2 armor, but it'll stop every shot.

With how low recoil is right now though, if you're using smgs or 545 aks I'd advise just going for headshots or spraying at their head. All it takes is that 1 bullet and they're done

So you'll only be making their arms bleed semi consistently, so it's so much better to just go for the legs because that makes it highly consistent, or for the head with other guns, personally I dislike shotguns.

Banwaves allow anti-cheat devs to learn how their cheats hooked in and block the exploit. If they simply blocked every little one when they got the report they'd be even more behind cheat devs. It's a never ending battle anyways (in any game), but this at least allows them to get periods where cheats can't be used at all. That's why every major game does banwaves instead of immediate bans

Start in Ground Zero, Woods, or Customs (my suggestions, start anywhere but Factory). You want to get one map down well. Don’t spread yourself thin early on. Focus on getting good enough at one map you can always go back there and make money if you need to, then go learn others.

Use these maps - they'll look cluttered at first. Hit "Hide All" on the left-hand toolbar, then scroll down and only toggle on "Extractions" and "Locations". That'll give you a pretty good look - feel free to toggle on some loot options as you go

Head into a practice mode on one of those maps, toggle on some AI scavs, and try to get a feel for the map, movement, gunplay, scav killing, etc.
When you're ready - try to scav into one of those maps and actually get some loot out.
Then you can take your PMC in and try to do some quests or loot or simply survive.
