there's definitely lavatory crafts that create armor with lvl 5 plates. but as far as i have found, the crafts themselves require 1 lvl 5 plate (they generate 2 though since the armor has a front and back plate)

so maybe you need 1 lvl 5 plate to start but then you can generate more from it. but im curious what the best crafting sequences are for that.

i tend to like the vepr-hunter when im low level. it's decently cheap and the ammo you can access at lower levels has decently high pen.
another option to look into is the aks-74u if you want a silenced weapon. ammo not as good, but you can get it silenced and ammo isnt that important for farming scavs.
if you have the flea, you could look into the RFB. it uses the same ammo as vepr-hunter and it's quite cheap on the flea, but im not sure if you'll have trader access to the magazines yet.

One way to learn player behavior was to spam a map. This is my first wipe as well (480 hours) and I did 250 factory raids with a glock when I first started to learn movement and how guns work.

Look at the quest flowchart on this wiki page, and look at all the dead-end tasks individually. If you don't care about the rewards, don't do them.

But since most the good stuff is locked behind trader levels this wipe, it's easier to just do all of your tasks, and get to max traders.

Basically armor + recoil changes. Everyone can laser now and armor almost never saves you. It just results in you dying in a split second and not being able to react to rats.

Id say 80% of my deaths come from 2tap thorax, which are so fast, that i always think i got headshotted

people can't make up their minds, some will tell you armor tanks a million shots, others will tell you it's useless. The truth is that due to the new armor areas/plates, killing armored enemies feels less consistent than ever. This leads to a lot of people who used high tier armor as a crutch feeling like they got the rug pulled out from under them. Same goes with guns, lower tier guns are more usable now which frustrates the meta juicers who feel like they deserve a significant advantage

I hate the new armor system because i dont think i should be dying this fast without someone headshotting me. It made the skill gap so much lower. People dont need to hit headshots anymore.

There positives to both sides. I see your point as well, but i believe that the negatives of the current armor system are much bigger.
They needed to also change health system together with armor system.

You should give timmies more opportunities to kill high geared players. But you should not completely disregard grind and you should not lower the skill ceiling by making most deaths 2taps to thorax.

There are no "right" places to look. Obv, you need to be vary of high traffic areas more, but other than that, people can and will be anywhere.

I would not recommend this. Run offline raids until you learn the maps layout but dont continue. Map knowledge is more about the pace of the map. How it plays out with other PMCs. Its not something you can learn offline.

Use mapgenie, plan your Raid in advance and try to learn and analize what happens while following your pre planned route on the map.

Dude, you are level 6. Just keep playing and learning. You wont become decent at the game until like 500hrs in the game.
