I'm USEC and I was under the impression that the rogues don't aggro on USEC at all (as long as you haven't damaged them at all within the last several raids). Sure enough, I ran up to water treatment in front of them and none of them shot me and I ran around and looted the place with no issues.

But I just googled it and all the discussions I'm seeing about it are saying that USEC does get aggro'd by rogues (just on a smaller aggro distance than BEAR). Is this true and I just got super lucky with the rogues generally being far enough away from me and the ones that got close just didn't have LOS on me or something? I had several rogues sprint past me while I was looting.

Dont be afraid of dying on pmc, it teaches you in which areas you usually die from god knows where so that you can avoid them in the future

A good strat on pmc is to find a hiding spot and chill in it for 10 mins and only then play the raid as usual

Its helps you avoid most spawnrushing deaths and other predictable path players will expect you at early game

Try to train your eye and constantly check for motion, dont get exposed in an outside environment for too long unless the map forces you and try moving building to building with minimal exposure

Try to think about it as a game (which it is) dont think about the death and instead make your mind think about an objective (always go in a map with a mission or objective in mind, be it quest, pvp etc), when engaging dont fear about the death and try to move, change firing angles and use cover, if you get shot from far away dont panic, start sprinting away to the closes cover you can find and then try thinking about another cover to go to if you dont know where the enemy is. If you die still, it's fine, you can never control a fight because you and the enemy arent the only people in the raid

best bet for now would probably be trying to push through to Gunsmith 1 so you can unlock the AR-15 Windham gas block. This allows you to get rid of the annoying iron sights
