Practice mode is great. Helps pvp and learning different spots for when things get wild you can use your brain more naturally instead of panic lol. Using some of the keybind tips have been useful as well

This is what I was hoping for. I used those starting mp5 and was super excited then got in a couple fights and seemed like I was shooting peas at people lol. Then I’d pick up a looted weapon even a pistol and a couple bullets does the trick. Difference in armor maybe? Idk but the immersion and depth is mind blowing with this game

I am unable to run Streets of Tarkov! I do have the low graphics for Streets only turned on, as well as a couple other settings to make things work better, but after 12 minutes of loading into the match, it hits me with the packet loss symbol and I rubber-band until I die lol. Now, I'm not asking for assistance with this issue, at least not in terms of how to fix it. I'm just wondering, am I going to be limited in terms of the loot I can get/tasks I can complete if I don't go to streets? I'd assume so, but is it like, a significant loss? If it's really that big of a difference, I'll buy some more RAM right now lmao- Thanks in advance for the help! :)

someone who's played the game for a very long time will tell you yes, because it has a lot of high value competitive loot. i will tell you from a beginner's perspective that the learning curve is so significant i'd be impressed if you got to any quests on streets

level 2 armor will save you from a couple rounds of bad ammo, or more if it's small arms

what type of ammo you're using really matters, so if you're using ammo with high penetration qualities, going for the thorax/head is always your best bet

but if you have high flesh damage ammo, you'll want to avoid hitting armor because those rounds are only meant for soft targets

I keep trying to get some of the quests done on Ground Zero, and I have gotten killed every time. I know the game is brutal by design, but I'm looking for some tips to help survive for solo runs. I'm currently level 12 which I've only gotten to by mainly just doing runs and misc tasks.

Gunsmith quests do unlock certain parts, ammos, barters, etc that are really nice. The exp alone from doing those quests are worth it.

On gunsmith 10, you unlock the ammo case to purchase from mechanic lv2. Most of the other gunsmiths just unlock weapon parts that are very expensive on the flea. You don't actually unlock any ammos from the gunsmith quests. I just went and double checked the rewards

get a good spawn, pop sj6 to get in warehouse 3 and kill all rogues then do your quest quickly before being swamped by pscav/pmc, or alternatively, dress like a scav and wait for there to be <10 mins left in the raid where all rogues died/pmc left the map to go in to do your quest

I like to pop them in easily defendable locations with an extract near. My two fav locations are:

late-raid shoreline at pier if I can get Pier Boat extract

mid-raid interchange behind power if V-extract is there

interchange can be especially nice since it's pretty tough for people inside the mall to see where the drop is landing

Generally I have quite some success keeping around USEC camp on woods, then just hanging out for about 15-20 minutes before moving to med camp

Honestly, this is pretty normal, at least in my case. The Scavs can be quite nasty, even when on easy. My suggestion is to just keep trying and learning and never peek the same corner twice, especially if someone sees you.
