This is leveled up by moving around in any way while not being overwheight. If you are overweight (yellow icon on the health screen and yellow weight number) then all movements level up the strength skill

Yeah it's better if you try and do solo runs more often, you gain a lot more confidence this way

You can try and watch people do solo runs themselves and maybe get better knowledge, with time you will see that most combat happens on certain hotspots

Theres lots of good guides from people like Pestily on youtube. The game is very indepth theres a lot to learn even before going on your first raid. My advice, always have a map of tge location youre going to open on your phone or on a second screen

You should be able to barter for one for a bunch of other common to find tools at mechanic. Just look through toolboxes or big tool crates on whatever map youre playing and you should soon either find the toolset or the items needed for the barter

A boss has a chance to spawn in a particular raid, depends on the boss. They also can have many possible spawn locations. If you do find them be carefull the are usually very tanky and can have powerfull guards. The hammer guy you encountered is tagilla. If you see him you need to magdump into his legs unless you heve top tier ammo

Theres no real wrong ways to do gunsmith, you can meet the requirements without doing tge wiki build, its actually pretty fun

that's kind of the appeal for me, I've played this game since 2019 so I'm pretty good and progression since i know most tasks/map inside out, I usually grind the game pretty hard first few days of wipe(I get flea unlocked day 1, max trader in a week usually). So wipe is pretty fun for me
