Scavs will generally be dressed in like a ragtag civilian fashion wearing bright colors and stuff

players tend to have small nuances that trigger audio cues (shifting position a lot, frequent stops and starts) and this triggers quite often, since pmcs tend to have more gear than your average scav and it’s louder for that reason

scavs come in a couple different ai levels, so they’ll act a little different with varying differences in effectiveness too

i think a lot of the player base, especially pscavs, are very good at imitating scav behavior but the ones that don’t are very noticeable

2 questions: 1) do the bosses from Streets of Tarkov attack scav? Can I go in lexos without being attacked? 2)did they rework the lighting few wipes ago? The last time i played it was borderline unplayable at light without night vision. Now it seems alright on the map I tried.

yes they attack playerscavs, they will attack you if you go too close to them so i don't recommend going into lexos.
i believe they reworked lighting because there's a lot more clarity now imo, i can run night raids on certain maps without nvg's but i still encourage using them tbh

I gave up doing scav runs for that reason. I waited up to 30min for Streets. I believe there are not enough PMCs that are playing the maps outside of the beginner maps.
