Maybe a silly question, but how on earth is a new player supposed to get into/learn EFT? So far since the wipe, I have only been demolished on the 'beginner' map Ground Zero, by people who are fully geared and have over 2,000 hours on their account. Especially my scav runs, are normally ended within 1 minute as I spawn right next to a fully geared player, but my PMC runs are not going much better...

I know the game is not meant to be 'fair', but this feels a bit extreme ? I only encountered 1 player that was on my skill level so far

play with a mentor, I learned the game on my own and my SR was 5%-20% for the first few months. But when my buddy was learning the game as I teach him(I have about 3k hours at that point) his SR was 40%-50%

it'll help you so much knowing when and where to go, along with how to approach different engagement

also, wipe week is always chaotic, it's hard for both veteran and newbie alike so you'll have a way worse time now than a few weeks from now when things calm down

From what ive seen, fire support costs 70k on top of the about 11k it costs to ride it somewhere

You can also pay it to take some of your loot to your stash and it retains found in raid status. The price for that i think depends on how many slots youre sending home i think its 8-10 slots max
