so really dumb question about aiming/when to shoot, do i need to fully stabilize my sights on e.g. a mosin or an sks, or does the vertical bit just need to be on the target's head?

like say i see a scav off in the distance, and i want to kill them/they are already shooting at me like the cracked aimbots they are, do i need to hold alt and wait for my aim to stabilize, or can i just ads, line up the vertical bit, and pull the trigger?

ive been in parties with sherpas on woods where they say "there's a scav over there!" and while im still lining up my shot because the scav is off in fucking narnia, they shoot the scav and ask me why i wasnt shooting it on my own

so i feel like im doing something wrong when it comes to lining up shots, even if im using ironsights because i have literally zero scopes available yet

its a big part of the reason why i rarely play this game, i feel like i cant hit shots for shit, even though everyone else around me can spot and shoot stuff nearly instantly

there are other rigs too like MMAC, banshee etc but they are honestly about the same quality as that one youre using. TV-110 is my personal budget armor/rig once i hit lvl 3 ragman because of the shampoo and bleach barter.

armor is also potentially going through a massive change next wipe where you can actually swap plates. so armors that are good this wipe might not be next wipe. have to wait and see how it actually plays out

yeah banshee will be the same. the MMAC is still 40 hp though and at this point the material isnt going to make a noticable difference in mitigating damage from PMCs with good ammo. the rig you are using is titan which isnt awful compared to UHMWP.

they will repair better and work better against scavs though

totally up to you. the lower durability class 4s right now arent going to eat shots but they're better than nothing. Ive personally been running into a lot of people running ammo like 56a1 since the no ammo event and against stuff liek that and 5.45 BT it will be decent. Its just situationally dependent. while you're not wrong, the best way to learn PVP is to do it (hopefully arena can help there).

thats rough man. i wish i could help more there but i honestly havent played the map at all since the holloween event and they tweaked the rogue AI then. i knowm before i just would stick to the right side of the map. cross at the scav island and try to snipe the rogues from outside their turrets turning radius
