The wiki is ambiguous it says "Reputation is gained upon successfully completing deals." meaning selling and buying, but gain from completing would mean selling, but also the wiki isn't really that well maintained and a lot of it is anecdotal as well.

youll get used to it, this is the first wipe i started at the first day and ive gotten used to the game

i only had 2 weeks of experience before this wipe happened

the most important thing you really need to learn early is the spawn locations so you can estimate where people can be at the start and so youll know where to go for loot/pvp. second thing i recommend practicing is hip firing/point firing, you dont need to ADS to be accurate in this game and firing without scoping in helps wins fights

That's what long fuse nades are amazing for. Lock someone down for 5 or so, sometimes more seconds
