open the map on your phone/other monitor and look around you for landmarks/references and then work your way from there, also if youre low on stash, just do scav runs on factory (being the fastest and sometimes its mostly empty from usecs except for 1-2 dudes sometimes)

the combined, IR, Laser, and light combo, has 9 tactical modes

what I recommend to new players that helped me immensely, is to always keep moving. don't rush, but also don't sit in a bush. if you stop moving on a map like customs, the people who spawned behind you will catch up to you. So if you're tasking, dont loot until you're at exfil and just keep moving at a consistent pace.

Paca only protects you against stray buckshot from a scav, nothing more

you can buy a class 3 armored rig and also a regular class 3 armor from ragman LL1

those stop most scav rounds pretty well (as well as a low tier armor can), but will still be ignored by the majority of rounds players are running around with.

with regards to helmets, if you're on a budget don't buy them, spend the money on a headset instead. it can bounce a round or two every now and then tho.

say your buying an MBSS every raid, and a helmet

you can upgrade at T1 ragman to the Gruppa and have 25 looting spaces

if your making 10k per slot, the difference between 16 and 25 spaces is not only an entire gun you can fit

but 9 more slots at 10k per slot is 90k more per raid

if your even above 33% survival rate, changing that money to the larger backpack will EARN you more than the cost differential loses

in fact, you'd need UNDER a 18.6% survival rate for a T20 backpack to be worth LESS than the MBSS

UMP with FMJ is not bad, but definitely also not the greatest

also honestly, the best thing you can run after getting lvl 15 is an svt

you can't beat the price/performance of that damn thing

Ump is fine. Low recoil makes it good for spraying headshots. Can leg meta someone in half a mag with fmj if you hit every shot. It's really not a bad early gun

when healing in tarkov, is it worth to take bandages or just stop the light bleeds with the heals, so far im always bringing heavy and light bleed removals and use heals only to heal but i see a lot of people just use their heals to fix light bleeds, why do they do that? just to save that 1 square of extra space ?
