Are you dying to gunshot wounds? Dehydration? Hunger? This game has a huge learning curve.
The best thing to do is pull up a map on another screen (phone, 2nd monitor, etc) and run scavs to learn where loot is, PMC/Scav spawns are, and where extracts are.

Remember, as a PMC, almost everything will hate you. As a Scav, only some scavs will hate you, and most PMCs will if you can't voip and become friends lol. Most PMCs will still kill you after voip, but not all. Best options as a PMC are shoot everything most of the time. Best option as a scav is only trust the ai scavs (not raiders or bosses, they hate you too).

The rac for the ops core stuff is a good pick if your running a faceshield on the helmet because they are usually fairly cheap and your not gonna be running ears with the faceshield anyways
I personally would go ears with the mandible but that’s only because it allows for the slapp plate
The ears are also very limiting on what headsets you can wear, you can only put on m32, xcel and comtac4 I think

The RAC is only compatible with ops core helmets, I believe specifically the high cut ops core, the airframe and potentially both the replica and LSHZ

I'm still changing gun wise but mostly trying to run an sks with the basic marksman scope and t3 gear. Currently it's been doing BP trucks for the tagging but when getting to areas like gas station I seem to get 1 tapped when making an attempt to tag
But obviously I'm just looking to try and get better solo as I've spent too long doing duos and it's a whole different game I'm noticing with a second pair of eyes 😂

For BP depot honestly if your struggling bad with it try and potentially wait out the instant rush of the match, the one at pocket watch is always gonna have some traffic due to the area being a common going through area to other places but the other places should be fairly quiet a couple minutes after match start
Solo is gonna require you to be a lot more conscious about your placement, it’s not required by any means but it’s a good idea to know roughly where other players spawn in a match just so you can keep an eye on where your foes are likely to come from

Yeah I'm always fidgety in duos when hearing anything move😂, I think its just getting use to audio distance as sounds from other shooters that you would expect to be close are miles away and it throws me a little bit

one more thing for customs from one sks player to another, use the DT Cobra for customs. the PSO is way more expensive and not really worth it for a mid-short range map like customs
you're way better off with a good 1x optic
this is honestly not a bad thing you can run if you wanna use the sks
if you find a supressor (or even without), this build isnt half bad either with LL1 traders

Honestly just continue trying to level whatever is closest, pk3 opens up most of the good DMRs, mechanic 3 is alright but doesn’t have anything I can think of besides the cheapest barter for the zabralo, jaeger 3 has the RR barter, ragman 3 gives you access to plenty of solid backpacks and more importantly stuff like the gen4 hmk, redut-m and tan fast MT, skier allows you to actually use the MCX and gets you a cheap and solid foregrip with the regular RK-1

depends on what you want to run i guess, one run i ran DB from jeager which is only like 8-9k and i put lead slugs in it and got some decent runs out of it, you just have to aim for the head, and if u miss ur kinda boned

The M1A sounds too damn good to run w a silencer but ofc it all depends on what your goal is in the raid like I opt for a loud build when farming Kaban mostly
But if I’m just doing a normal money run or anything unrelated to farming bosses then I’d probably go for a silenced build

You have to survive a raid. Even if you kill 3 scavs without medicine but then fight a player and heal after, you fail it.
So you need to not heal the entire raid and survive

Dumb question probably.. but after repairing an armor, does it still give you full protection? Let's say a zabralo.. full health it has 120 points, you get hit in raid, it goes down to 70, you repair it, it goes back up to let's say 100/100. Is it still tier 6 protection, or the equivalent of tier 5 or 4 at that point?

I stand corrected, basically armor works based on % durability left.
But since bullets deal a flat amount of damage and not a %damage, lower max durability means the armor will degrade faster
And stop less bullets

do quests don't neglect them, and don't fall into the trap of doing factory only because it's the smallest map and therefore the best to start on, might be true but that place is only for PvP

yeah i was just thinkin like one that stops heavy/light bleeding and then one for like anti pain and stamina recovery/like weight negating so you can run away

Etg gives a little food but takes more away later, the primary upside is the massive amount of HP it heals back allowing you to regen HP even with 3 heavy bleeds
Zagustin stops and prevents bleeds for 2 minutes at the cost of some water lost
Sj6 gives 50% more stamina for also basically no downsides
Adrenaline has painkiller a stamina boost and hp regen but can drain your food and water, the painkiller is only 80 seconds but it’s very cheap and can be good for a hotbar
Perfatorin stops and prevents bleeds for 90 seconds aswell cures poison and gives an HP regen at a notable loss of energy
And PNB gives notable strength and endurance bonuses alongside a pretty good HP regen but can have some strong impacts afterwards

I can give you some general directions, the room for glory to CPSU is in the second floor of the chek building on the other side of the road from LeXos, audit is in the meeting room of the financial office nearby sewer river and abandoned factory on some binders on the floor, the door however requires a super rare one use key that is flea banned and cannot be put in a secure container

But knowing the capabilities of your gun and its ammo to their gun/armour and the potential bullets they could be using can be helpful, along with that knowing where PMCs in a match will spawn so you can roughly guess where they will be coming from

run a 50k armor + a 20-50k gun and you got yourself an eco run
anything below that is death and a waste of cash and ur better off running the double barrel shotgun worth 8k from jager and a paca for a total of like 30k to avoid tagged and cursed
