5.56 suffers early in game , the g36 is fairly bouncy but can be made to work with enough mods , be sure to play with the mag options since it has two mag wells , meaning it can g36 only mags or be converted to m4 mags

Looking at class 4 - 6 which most people consider "pvp" armor , we see that m856a1 takes 3-8 rounds on target to kill a player

So on paper , the round is pretty decent. The isssue falls on the guns , for what ever reason 5.56 guns largely have the worst "first round" recoil in game outside of meme builds.

Thats the crux of my argument. for the same cost per weapon the AKM beats out the m4 until you start going parabolic with the cost ( using m856a1 vs PS)

With how the guns behave currently, the AKM works much better as a brawler ( sub 50m) gun than a comparable m4 which works better as a psudo dmr until you really start throwing mods at it.

Customs and woods for sure. It's where almost all of your pre lvl 15 tasks are. Customs is easy to learn and has a good mixture of loot & PvP. Shoreline is like woods, but far more difficult to traverse without getting one tapped by a bush wookie

Mix in some factory for when you want a break and a quick fight

Target identification is an actual, real skill that requires practice. Most shooters give you visual aids like diamonds or other icons to help you so you don't have to learn the skill. Tarkov doesn't help you in gamey ways so you have to learn the real skill which revolves around context, details, and motion
