Rigs give more space than they take up. (Almost all) Backpacks do not. Just stack backpacks inside of each other and use rigs for storage. Load bearing chest rig is a good one. In general though, you're best off using cases as often as you can

You need one to enter the labs map, consumed when entering the map. You need a couple for some quests so it's worthwhile to hang on to a couple. They are semi-common on player scavs so it isn't excessively rare but they still go for a pretty penny on the flea (160k+ usualy).

if youre in a spot that isnt good to get out of, and you dont know where to run to regain composure to fight

then you just need more map experience... experience and map knowledge and the two things you need most in Tarkov

if you dont have much of either it's rough

but as long as you commit and are willing to learn, it does get better, YOU get better

how are you supposed to approach solo raids? i know every raid is diff coz of the quests and activities needed to be done, this time i was specifically trying to do a scav killing quest.

generally finding success solo has a lot to do with gamesense and map knowledge

without knowing the specifics, maybe you just took a risky path, maybe you couldve done something better, but a lot of the time youll just get spotted and die, its just how the game is

some maps are easier/harder solo and some locations specifically are easier/harder solo so knowing those, knowing typical pmc pathing, knowing what sounds mean when you hear them, all can help you find success

theyre things that youll just gradually feel more comfortable with as you play, try to pay attention to your spawns when you play and anticipate others spawning there when you dont, and where they might be headed / what quests they might be doing

if you spawn on the wall behind 2 story dorms on customs, take note that theres a group that probably spawned up at the radar area and is like 50/50 headed in your direction, for instance

Read through what the items in your inventory are and what they do. Then select a map. Customs is your bet. On the next screen enable offline mode, and then turn scav count up. Go in and explore. You don't gain nor lose anything in offline mode. So take a ton of ammo and mags and practice shooting and try to find your extract.

But again, it might not for you, but if you say all of your guns are gone in your stash, then it doesn't hurt to restart. Even if you are level 5 or something, that can be made up quickly

best thing to do for that quest is get the item on Customs, then join a 5 man factory squad here

then go in with them to plant the item

D2 is the underground extract, requires power to be turned on which is also underground in the office area
Bunker Door is the extract near the train, this requires a switch near White Pawn to be activated in order to be able to extract. This sets off an alarm and raiders spawn and you can only extract whilst the alarm is still sounding.
Cliff something.. the one near dome requires the red rebel and no armor/only armor rig to extract

they have a chance to spawn immediately

and they also have a chance to spawn when you turn on the power

depends on what quest you have on woods. but the hotspots for woods are usually usec camp, sawmill, med camp, and sometimes the village on the right side(east)

pretty sure that quest requires you to kill the scavs in customs map instead of woods. and the shotguns, you canget whereever

can try #pvp-lfg too, but it's recommended ot least have a few solo raids under your belt

i recommend doing offline raids

at least a couple

after map select, click the checkbox on the next page

you dont gain anything in an offline raid, but you dont lose anything either

take in a ton of ammo, turn the scav count up!

and shoot anything that moves

get used to healing

and shooting and stuff

at this point, youre a liability

and it'll be hard to find someone who will want to raid with you

someone might be kind enough to jump in a VC and teach you some things

There is also the sherpa program you could try to go through

scavs are usually colorful, and look less geared

at least more colorful

PMCs are generally darker in color, have mlitary looking helmets, and bigger bags

and will shoot at you on sight

most player scavs are nice

some will murder you

but most wont
