I would keep both. Since, if you use the weapon repair kit it will level up a skill and the armor repair kit safes you a lot of money.

There is a quest container, that is in the quest tap, if you die, everything in that container is lost.
If you do not turn in the quest item at the end of the raid you picked it up (ore move it in the stash) you take it with you in the next raid.

The Dc on streets when going in as scav is a problem entirely on their side, nothing you can do. I have the same problem, can't connect with scav to any day time streets raid, but I do can connect to night time streets raid (after 21). Try that and see if you can connect, for science.

I can't help with the jumpiness but most scavs are wearing colorful clothes and tend to wear/use similar gear. That's usually how I try to discern them

Yeah, for real. I hide on the side of bridge for Woods - someone scopes the car until I emerge to get my ride out. I hide in the trees on Customs - someone holds sight lines from dorms upper floors. Just my luck I guess.

my best recomendation is to try and hug the wall and not touch any foliage until after you tap the car, then try and find a nice thick bush thats out of the direct line of sight of the back windows preferably one behind a tree and just wait it out and pray till about 15-10 seconds
then the rest is just up to those sick tarkovian gods

max out everything you can. Some of the stations in hide out give some stupid buffs.
Library gives you tech skill buffs. Air filter gives phys skill buffs.
Water collector and filter and max rest and max meds make it that you basically don't have to eat and with a few minute rest between pmc raids you're fully healed.
About the middle of last wipe I had no use for food since I had max metabolism and max water collector, max rest, max meds. So, I was no longer healing unless I got killed in raid and came back with like 20 health.
Bro... I am poor right now because I am stock piling shit versus selling. So, I'm basically saving shit for maxing hide out or for quests that were stupid hard for me last wipe. Now I just need to get another graphics card... Those have become elusive for me. =[

probably your ram or cpu maxing out while loading making your pc freeze, which stops data transfer between your pc and the server which the server sees as you losing connection. try to close every single other app while loading into streets, turning down your graphics settings or just acepting that streets is to shittyly optimized for your pc and get more ram/cpu power or just play other maps
