you can also save space by selling cheap mags, check traders for mag prices

you can take pistol grips/mags off of guns to make guns 1 slot tall, usually saves 2-3 spots

I've decided shotguns aren't for me. I just seem to fail more with them and the TTK is so inconsistent. I am now using glock with ap6.3 for fun and I'm trusting that it'll kill anyone with level 3 helm / visor in 1 shot and it's cheap to use and I can grab 2 guns in the raid. Glocks are neat

im not 100% sure how it works but i think its modifier to the helmet ricochet chance and the final chance is a combination of the helmet+round stats cause its for sure not 60% ricochets with 5-7 ive penned so many helmets first shot with it for that to be true

To improve with the fundamentals of pvp, play factory. But if 70% of your fights are you dying before even seeing the enemy, your movement, positioning and general map understanding is lacking (no offence).
So you have to evaluate how you play, how you move about the map. The best thing to do, is to install something like "Outplayed" and then rewatch your fights and deaths, and often you can see what you did wrong.

No, but serious, to me it sounds like you are stuck improving (what ever the reason might be) and it seems that you don't know exactly were you went wrong. So the best thing to improve is installing something that lets you rewatch what you did, because thats makes it a lot easier to evaluate what you did correct and what went wrong.

If you are already lvl 16, you should buy the beta-container from Peacekeeper using the flea, unless you are going hard (and know what you are doing) streight for the punisher part 6 quest line for the Epsilon container.

You should have an CMS in your Alpha container, Aluh splints and 1 stack of spare ammo (unless you play ultra budget ammo)

dude 90% of my scavs kills are over 40m, you do not need to be using a rangefinder at all anymore unless youre doing distance shooting and u need to zero a scope
