All quests need to be done on your pmc expect ones like the flash drive or gas analyzer
Items that you can normally find in random locations
Quest items like secure folders and jaegers letter can only be picked up on pmc, they don't spawn on your screen when you are a scav.

If you want to guarantee profit, you can always enter the cycle of scavving and offline-PMCing/Practice Mode while your scav is on cooldown. Scavving can only make you money. Practice mode is great for learning maps, cache runs, and getting good at killing scavs and scav bosses, and other core mechanics like hipfire. It's literally impossible to lose any money doing this, so it just stacks up while you learn a lot

Get really good at making money. If you know you can fallback to a map and strat that makes you money whenever you want it, then you can start using your best stuff all the time to get better with it and desensitize yourself to losing it.

Don't be too worried about gear fear. It makes the game way more adrenaline filled. If you're not scared of losing something, you won't be thrilled to gain it. Without the gear fear the game is more boring IMO

When using this site btw:
First check if you need any found in raid (FIR) for tasks- Image shows yes, 5 total needed FIR, save 5 for quests in the future

Then you can check to see if you make more from Traders, or on the flea market. If it sells for a lot more on the flea it might be worth keeping until level 15.
