Technically you're "Not supposed to" but I've brought in guns for friends many many times and am still good.
Odds are as long as its not "crazy" amounts you'll be fine.
iirc the bullet will hit the arm do 50 damage, then has some scrubbed off for the 2nd hit ( IF IT HITS )

Most people have more trouble extracting than finding the note, so that's where you should be careful.
Make sure you plan out your route the moment you spawn, know your extract, don't rush.
But to find the note, just look for the huge flat-top mountain. Run to it, circle it until you see the plane, then the camp is off the nose of the plane to the left.

i am out of backpacks and ammo carriers and i cant even carry healing. to buy bags and specific heals i need aa battaries and other items but i cant get them because i have nothing to use to get them. scavs are like 30 mins apart from eachotehr and whenver i try to do them i die anyways because i either dont know what heals to use or i dont find an extract. im running out of ideas... any tips?

In your place I'd leave the pistol, knife and goggles in your stash and bring headphones instead. You're unlikely to use the pistol, almost guaranteed not to get it back in insurance (as almost everybody has an empty pistol slot and will take any half geared pistol) and you can use the pistol/goggles/knife slots to equip loot in raid if you find anything worth taking.
At least bring some cheese even if in your container.

Game is perfectly viable and fun solo if you have the mentality for it. Meeting new people to play with also isn't difficult and a lot of players are willing to play with others, there's LFG channels and the such for that. Definitely worth getting, but if you're on the fence buy the standard edition and see how you like it before upgrading to EOD

Yeah headsets in-game actually adjust a lot. Hearing range, the volume of your own noises that you'll hear vs other player's noises, etc.

Car/Paid exfiltrations are really good for Karma, Woods/Interchange/Customs/Lighthouse has one each, will give you +0.25 with diminishing returns (+0.25,+0.12,+0.06, etc)
You can also do co-op exfils (PMC+Scav), those are much harder to do due to having to trust a random player, but those also give you the initial +0.25 then diminishing returns like the Paid exfils

This is how I deal with the problem, I never shoot anything unless I know its a PMC or I watch them become a bad scav or they shoot me. Should save you a lot of pain later
