for shortage you can try to scav reserve, you can sometimes find salewas in the med building. for debut its best to try to endure woods to unlock jager by doing the introduction quest, you can then buy the needed shotguns from jager

The first step to learning literally any map is dying a bunch to people you don't see. There is technically no other way to begin figuring out where you should be looking, where you should be careful, where player traffic is, etc.
You just have to grit your teeth and push through it, it's very annoying, but if you stick to one map you'll get over it faster

Just make sure you're incorporating and integrating the lessons from each death into your next runs

Just to note as this is the case with Salewas:
Any time you see "Find/Found in Raid" to describe an item, that item can only be obtained a few ways. FIR (Found in Raid) items can either be

1. Crafted
2. Received as a quest reward
3. Found within the raid it spawned in, and successfully survived with.

If another player brings an item into a raid, and you kill him, that item won't be FIR as it didn't originate within that raid.
If you grab an item and put it in your pouch, but die, you'll still have it, but it will lost it's FIR status because you didn't successfully extract.

This is important because just about every quest that requires you to find any items, those items need to be FIR.
FIR items are also the only items that can be listed on the flea market, which makes them far more valuable.

Well when you lean to the side, moving your mouse horizontally left or right will have your guy move the gun parallel to the floor rather than parallel to the camera

It’s only natural. If the target is to the left of your crosshair / sight, move left. Except here you have to move left and down which doesn’t feel right

When you are standing up straight, and you wiggle your mouse side to side at a consistent, straight line, it moves parallel to the floor. Then say you lean to the right or left fully and continue that motion, the crosshair will take the same path, parallel to the floor, and not moving the gun left to right relative to your new camera orientation
