Do scavs become more difficult late wipe? I'm currently level 10 and some of these scavs just damn near head eyes me while hiding in a bush a mile away. Offline raid I have no issue smoking them.

Woods stashes but pls dont do that unless you are new as you are hurting yourself. Its much better to go scav on factory and run straight for extract for that quick cash boost and then go for a money run as pmc, which will give you xp and levels skills

Guys please could someone help - I bought the game today and am averaging about 80fps on settings that im happy with, ive played a few raids, but I had a feeling that something was off and it didnt feel like 80fps to me. I play on a high end gaming laptop and use an external monitor paired with my laptop screen to have a dual monitor setup (The external monitor 165hz is my main monitor - and the 165hz laptop screen is my secondry), I decided to play it side by side and it appears to my eye that I was correct - the 80 fps on my external monitor is not actually 80 fps, as I can visibly notice that it is not as smooth and responsive as the gameplay on my laptop monitor - which is true ~80fps
This is only the case for Tarkov... No others games that Ive played have I experienced this
Any help much appreciated - loving the game so far but its kinda a dealbreaker

Im currently trying disabling my laptop screen display and just using the external monitor only while playing tarkov - i just played a offline pmc raid and I have boosted by around 15fps as well as it feels like the true fps that im supposedly getting... not sure if that is just becaues maybe offline raids perform better fps wise? @rotund trellis

No, i use my external to play my games on (its 165 dell just like my laptop is 165hz dell) and I use my laptop monitor as a secondry, for things like spotify, discord, google.

But i felt that the '80'fps that I was getting didnt feel like 80fps should - and so i changed the game to play on my laptop monitor, and instantly I could tell that I was right and the game was not being streamed to my external monitor at a true 80fps although it was telling me that is what it was running at

You should go later in the raid. I’ve never ran into a scav camping at d2 and pmc’s will likely go to extract there before you if you go late clearing any campers or having their body be a warning sign. And do be sure to check EVERY corner. Behind doors, in the darkness, in spots you don’t think you can get to, look up, use a light. D2 extract is very much in favor of campers so you should also bring some grenades in case you get shot at and have time to fall back behind cover
