I always learn from mistakes by watching back videos, but I just get so scared playing it

just run around as scav, i didn't pay attention to other players once i figured out how scavs worked. IF pmcs left and they wanna kill me so be it, other scavs generally won't kill you if they do so be it. Running around and looting fast as possible on a route is the way to go imo. Ignore everyone else, treat it like a solo run with npcs.
once you understand how gun / ammo works then you can start paying attention to pmcs during your scav runs.

Something you can do is quickly peak and come back to cover (called a jiggle peak) or if you are for example in dorms and there is a room on the other side of the hall from your current room

But for 9x18mm i would say PBM GZH or PSTM are the most worth using since they will actually penetrate armour

Am i at a good spot for only having 180 hours? I started like a month late into wipe and don't have a huge amount of time to play but i get it in when I can. Only 50 PMC kills though. Mainly worried I'm dying too much when i PMC with a 30% SR
I die in too many gunfights but it’ll click eventually
I am happy with my learning of maps though, i’ve learned them all and most of their loot and caches and scav spawns except lighthouse

To be clear, your stats aren't good . Your S/r should be 50 % and k/d vs pmc's 1.0 , right now it's a bit less than 0.5, cuz 50/113 = 0.44. But there is nothing wrong with it , there are many ways to improve your stats

most of my quests on other maps are complete and im nearing lvl 42
the majority of quests ive got left are on Streets
but the map isnt optimised for non devs so unless youve got a nasa computer you literally cannot load into the map

Are you holding it while crossing?
If you are holding it and don't get close to zryachiy or the guards then you should be fine
Saw a stream where lupo got too close while holding the thing and died, and had no issues returning to the island the next raid
Had the transmitter out the whole time while crossing and looting
