You can go to launcher as well and see your ping on different regions. For example, I’m na, and usually can play with people from the UK with like 100 ping which is manageable. One time my buddy was in Korea, and we had to all hop on NA west as it was the only NA server he had tolerable ping on. You can kinda find the middle ground sometimes

So a lil about myself I am a USEC player at heart. I have roughly 1500hrs in Tarky. I am still learning(& DONT THINK I AM THE SHIT!) I know enough about the game for it to be extremely dangerous 😄 🤣 & these are facts. I have already done a bunch of quests myself. Believe it or not still looking for stupid Saluas for Therapist. Mind you haven't really played much this wipe I really stopped when the hacking ramped up especially with the invisible bug. (Sorry about this gat damn book but these are necessary things when talking about partnering up in Tarky.) I would prefer someone more chadded out. Preferably a lot more knowledgeable Bout the game than myself, laid back cool, well spoken no loud noises in back ground, easy to play with(as in NOT a loot hog) These are all pros.

MP7 uses 4.6, you may be able to craft fmj sx? Not sure. The other issue is getting mags, which is sorta locked behind trader levels. You won’t be able to get 40 rounders for a while probably, 30 rounders you may be able to get soon not sure
But if you’re gonna run an MP9 I’d suggest leg meta, rip rounds if you can craft them (it’s a cheap craft) or you could always buy Luger cci if you have to. MP9 has insane fire rate so I find it can work pretty good with leg meta rounds, or AP6.3 is like the only other 9mm round I find usable
Shotguns with flechette or magnum are good as others have said, SR-2M can actually be decent as a leg meta gun. UMP w match fmj you can’t go wrong, or the .45 vector once you can buy 30 round mags.
Also never underestimate being able to shoot a billion bullets- I find sometimes bringing a random gun with a drum or 60 rounder, even if it’s not the best ammo, has its own value. Being able to just hold left click and hipfire magdump, no worries about burst firing or anything, no worries about trying to wallbang through doors/windows/etc. People underestimate suppressing fire and not having to reload constantly
