When you step into a mine and it explodes, it usually damages you and might fracture some legs. DO NOT step further, heal those up, and move backwards, in case you hit another mine. Hitting two mines instantly kills you as far as I know

To help you out a bit, the only maps with mines that you should worry about are woods and lighthouse. Reserve has some as well but they're way out of bounds you'd have to be pretty reckless and just completely walk out of direction to walk on them. Lighthouse has some annoying mines, if you run LH make sure you know their exact positions... You can literally spawn like 100 meters away from them

You won't find a good helm, just use the Ratnik from Prapor 1 - it has ear protection and good ricochet chance which is all you want from a helmet that early.
For armor use the 6b3tm, 6b13, or mmac - those are good budget ll4 armors

Most people use the tarkov wiki to look up tasks, and basically everything in this game.
But first you gotta get 2 toolsets (check wiki on How to find them), and then go to Factory, at forklift/the long hallway you see 2 broken elecrtrical things. They have a red light around them, go up to one of them and then “Repair”. It’ll take some time, do that with the other one aswell
