Yea, but its more then that, your pmc and scav levels are separate, you dont get to choose scav loadout...so pmc is your actual character, scav is something you do to try to make money if you are broke

as a newer player, you should be scavving everytime its off cd imo....the other thing is, npc scavs wont shoot at you unless you attack them first

on your pmc, they will shoot on sight

Best way to learn maps is to open up maggenie, or any other map online on second screen or on phone, and just figure out where you are, or run around. I'm sort of embarassed to say due to hardware i avoided streets, but in only 6 raids i've learned the entire layout of the map, and all it's extractions, now it's just about figuring out the inside of each building and all the loot, in those 6 raids i've managed to do 60% of the quests so far, i Just used the wiki

Yeah factory is a good map for practicing PvP but that’s about it. Not much loot there, and most of your quests will be on other maps. Factory is fun for sure but I’d say not really the normal tarkov experience, it’s like a little PvP arena with a boss in it

Expensive cause it looks cool lmao. It’s not practical to wear, it’s class 3 but low ricochet chance, you’d probably be better off wearing a shattered mask or a kiver fs. Just sell it to ragman

In fact once you get to ragman 3 I believe, there’s a barter for that mask for a bunch of like wrenches or something, shitty barter items. It’s actually kind of decent, if you just pick them up on your scav runs you can barter for the ronin mask, sell it right back for 100k.
