I've had the game for like 2 years but I've only gotten to like level 10 and quit this is the first time I've gotten to level 18 and actually experienced the flea market and I like it. I somewhat know the maps. I'm beginning to learn shoreline and I know customs decently. I know how to navigate a map as I played alot of vanilla dayz. The issue I'm having is I just wanna play with guys who aren't just dickheads to me alot of the time. Expecting me to know everything while also knowing I'm a somewhat new player. I just wanna play with some chill guys who wouldn't mind throwing some tips here and there.

you have a longer barrel and a proper stock on the bottom one so ofc it's gonna have way better recoil, first one has better ergo as a result and it will be shorter so you won't get barrel stuffed as easy

So you can choose if you wanna sell it or not

Because nobody but you knows where you're at in terms of quests or hideout, or what barters/crafts you're trying to save for, you have 2 options. It's otherwise impossible to know, without significant experience or asking other people every time, what you'll need anytime soon, or what sells for substantial money to other players.

Option 1) Set a particular goal - maybe two or three hideout upgrades you want and get your list of like 5-10 items together. Sell everything else. This is the most "to hell with inventory management" approach, and you'll certainly sell things that you'll need again or could have sold for more, but you'll spend much more of your time in-raid.

Option 2) Check everything using https://tarkov-market.com/ and the info it provides for quest/hideout/barter/crafting requirements and for flea prices. Then you can decide what things you'll need soon enough, and which items sell for enough, to hold onto. This is quicker in the long run and more profitable, but is tedious.

It mostly is something you’ll come to learn with later wipes like saving cigarettes or other niche bits of loot because you know of the quests

But other than from memory or looking up/asking about each individual item your best bet is to just look for loot that you know you need

If you know you need it for hideout or current quests etc

Everyone knows the routes for woods, so always travel outside of the main routes. Spawns are close to woods so if you can throw people off, you'll know how to catch them with their pants down.

Not really, you should be good to go as a PMC since you have starting gear and money, if you still want to learn the map do so in an offline/practice raid, PMC is your main character, use scav to make money when it's dire, or when you need to find found-in-raid items for quests without risking a PMC loadout.

You can start wherever, scav is a great way to make money, but like was said - practice mode is also a great place to start if you want to get some map knowledge and game sense before risking loot

I learned a stash route in Woods that is 100% guaranteed to be juicy, there's a stash between Scav Town and Mountain Stash and almost 99.99% of the time nobody even hits

Good point, I was prepared and had a safe peek on the door for his push, but he baited half my shots and ran across in the crossfire, when I had to fall back to reload, he got a couple of hits on me also. I fallback in the first room of showers, and he ran to the other one... I had a 25 rounds UMP mag so a reload was inevitable and he got a new better position because of it... I've lost a lot of fights because of people who just bait and force you to prefire/waste some rounds and it's really disadvantageous with the 25 rounder

i normally get skier first just by buying various mods from him so to get pk l2 i:
buy usd, by a fuckton of m9a3's , probably around 20 and then sell to mechan, get money then buy more usd for a bit more

this sells for 80k at skier

so you get 80k spending for 20k wasted or so

seems ok

sometimes you can find them for 90k so its barely 10k wasted
